SIET Coimbatore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students become eligible for placement in their 6th semester. But training for the placements starts from 5th semester itself .Many top companies often visit like TCS,infosys,wipro etc.. According to me average package is 4 lakhs per annum is the salary for freshers.

From 5th semester onwards our college provide placement for the students. Eligibility criteria is the student must be completed eight level of program challenge in college portal. The company which offered the highest packages autodesk recently made 45 lakh per annum. Approximately 75% of the students in our college get placed every year. My plan after getting degree is to get placed in a good company and work for it

The course curriculum I have studied is very vast and an advantage in taking an engineering course is that you can learn both science along with the technology For every course taken in engineering there is compulsory same subjects for all the departments Me having a wide interest in science and technology these curriculum has helped me with basics of biological techniques and so that cannot have to hear an unknown word in workplaces

The course I have choosen is based on my interest towards hardware design. The staffs were just to move out the portion's not based on students understanding. My suggestion is to teaching in the way with real world examples will be understanding easier and get to know about new things easily. After 6 months the exams are conducted, Each exam takes 3hrs and time is enough to answer all the questions

The placement are good for IT domain but is not good enough for agriculture engineer this actually not on the college side the companies not ready to pay such kind of packages to agriculture engineering student instead they hire diploma students. The placement team continuously provide training and support throughout the course. Around 100 companies visited for placements where 90 are IT domain and 10 are core companies If 100 are enrolled in placement 75 are placed. With avg package of 3 to 4lpa

Placements are average in this college and we should self learn ourselves and we should do side course it's good for computer science engineering. But projects and other courses certificate speaks in placements

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

Course curriculum is an apartment from Anna University. Curriculum should about placement for student.The students are able to learn topics easily and the teaching methods are good. Curriculum is prepared for real - world applications. The students are well trained for the placements.

From the 5th semester the students are trained for the placements and the students are seperated in batches for the placements.They will easily placed into the company. The company for the placements are good reputated company.
