The first thing is the infrastructure which is good enough
The second is the placements done during third year
Intership opportunities are provided by college itself

Dislikes

Hostel facilities are worse due to inproper maintenance
Food provided in the hostel mess is not good enough
No proper or regular holidays are provided compared to other colleges

As I applied through TNEA in 2023 as per my marks and rank list number I got this college. Often i enquired about this college with their students and then accepted through TNEA counce. As I belongs to BC community and my cutoff was 144.5 in 2023 when I joined.Now it might have been increased

Likes

The college follows and unique curriculum so that students can focus on their goal
Our college also provide as same important for sports and other extra curricular activities so that our students you are well practiced that as well
Apart from studies also give some motivation to how to become an entrepreneur

Dislikes

The fee structure for management is to high so which is very disliked one
The cultural events are very limited around 2 to 3 for year which is very minimum comparative any other colleges
Very limited faculties where teaching everything clearly not everyone

Admission:

The fun fact is I have applied for five colleges in which this was the first one unfortunately the first one has been allotted for me so there is no choice for me to choose any other colleges. The admission process is pretty sample during the day of admission we have to pay the initial fee and get admission receipt that's it.

Likes

The world-class environmental facilities which makes the mind blissful and stress is one of the main aspects of the college
The most friendly and educated staffs their engagement with this student and the mindset to improvise the abilities of the students
Almost 90% of the students who applied for a job can definitely get an opportunity to being to be placed

Dislikes

There are pros and cons in every prespective
The stricter timings and wearing id cards on a regular basis
Required more and more technical trainings to include and lab facilities needs an improvement

I have choosen this college on engineering counselling conducted by the government , i choose this college based on the cutoff system followed during my phase from 2016-2020 The other big college I have applied and did not joined because of my lower cutoff So the main reason for me to chose this college is because of low cutoff, healthy greeny environment, availability of transport facilities to my home which 50km away from the college

The dress code is not more complicated and Saturday we are allowed to wear jens
Personal appearances like hair and beard are trimmed as per student requirements as good looking and decently.
Staffs are friendly and they provide good assistant in helping students

Dislikes

Infrastructure is poor, Restroom and hostel are bad and unclean
Food provided in hostel are very bad and it feels like not to have it for once
Paying fees on cash is strictly followed but student face issues as ATM doesn’t work well , Huge line occur during paying fees and small waiting room if not enough for more students

Admission:

The admission process is simple , I joined through counselling. I visited college and they provide me a form , I just filled the basic details and they have provide me admission. I choosed this college based on review and placement but after joining I realised there is placement only for computer science students in IT field

They provide many IV to the industry in and around coimbatore.
There is a compulsory all India IV associated with Government institutions like NSE and NIPHM
Cross domain placement opportunity from core to Information technology is awesome

Dislikes

Extended class hours upto 7pm for placement training
Toilets are not maintained properly for mens

Admission:

This college in particular for the cross domain placement opportunities and the easy enrollment in the college it was a smooth enrollment experience. Particularly the agriculture engineering department in other colleges are not upto this level the chairman of SIET itself a agriculture engineer which made me to take up this course

Sports is good in this college and they give importance
Atmosphere and climate is good in coimbatore
Infrastructure of the college is good as I thought

Average teaching and training in this 6.
Computer lab maintenance is very poor in this college
Average food court in this college and costly too.

As I came by counselling quota. I prefer computer science engineering. So I didn't get Good college for my mark so I came to this college by counselling quota. Otherwise I will not prefer this college

The facilities are not well used by the staffs
It is located far away from the main places, little hard to travel

To be Frank, my cousin who is an alumini of this college who suggested me that this college is a good one for engineering, and I believed it blindly but lately regretted for that decision, the quality of the education is quite low and the holidays are rare in this college, but it is better compared other engineering college in it's tier. And maniku this College has two intake methods government and management quota most of the ratio is from government quota and the fees vary between these two categories.
