KCET 2024 second round of mock seat allotment result has been published on Aug 25 on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. Eligible candidates have option to add/ alter/ rearrange/ delete options between Aug 25 to 27. The first round allotment result will be announced on September 01.
COMEDK 2024 Round 3 Choice Filling will be done between Aug 26 - 28, at @comedk.org. The Round 3 Seat Allotment Result will be announced soon.
For B.Tech Lateral Entry admissions, the second round seat allotment result has been released on August 20. Candidates are required to pay fees and download admission orders by August 27 and the last date to report to the alloted college is August 27 (5:30 PM).
Karnataka PGCET 2024 revised exam dates for M.Tech will be released soon. Meanwhile, MBA/ MCA exam has concluded successfully on August 4 and the final answer key was published on August 16.

Admission:

We should write kcet exams in karnataka to get merit seat in engg college. Kcet Merit qouta seats will cost only 1 lakh where as management seats ate of 5 to 6 lakh. I opted for other better college but didnt get due to my ranking in cet.

Beautiful campus with full of greenery. Very spacious classrooms
Smart boards are present in all the classrooms.

College is very far from bus stand we have to walk for 1 km
There are many dogs in the campus but no worries they don't harm us

Primarily SJBIT campus is vast and surrounded with nature which encourages our learning attitude.The professers have good knowledge of their subject. Both theoretical and practical experience is provided for the student.
This college has good students which helps in forming good peer groups who encourage and help out making the college life easier and fun.The college also supports various cultural and sports activities which encourages students overall growth

Dislikes

The college campus is very huge which means we students have to travel long distance by foot everyday. The distance from the main gate to the college is 1km which sometimes has to be covered on foot.
The teachers though having good knowledge about the subject they are not so good at teaching. Some lectures have attitude problem and this tends to discourage the students.

Admission:

The cutoffs vary for different streams. As I joined through Comet ke examination the cut off for me was around 30000 in the third round of comedk counseling for the course of information science and engineering. There are three internals that are conducted on a monthly basis and the same and examination is conducted every semester. The difficulty level of the examinations is medium. The admission process is pretty easy and convenient for the students.

The admission process is becoming so easy to us. There was a staff for guiding us in the admission process.I find my application form in neighboring cyber center. I entered in kcet exam and I got this college in 2nd round.Our kcet exam timing is good and some difficulty in the exam paper

Infrastructure is very good. Nice review from my super seniors.
Very informative sessions with all professor.

Dislikes

College timings it's somehow busy to be in time.
Nothing more to dislike as I'm comfortable with all the facilities given by the Instituition.

Admission:

The eligibility of the student is to be passed 12th & attended CET/COMEDK and any other competetive exams. Apllication details will be given by KEA website for CET/COMEDK students. For management quota need to talk with Admin Department.

Likes

campus life is after the lecture hours beacuse campus is to good in term of greenery

Dislikes

the infrastructure is not that good that good only straight building is there

Admission:

the eligibility criteria of course is 45% in each subject minimum required the application form is on COMED K website and the application fee is around 1800 the dates to fill the form is 1stfeb to 12th april. no reservation for non karnatka student

Likes

the college faculty is very supportive and friendly
The college also has a well equiped Gym that helps in a healty lifestyle

Dislikes

The college campus is straight and and is there on the slopes
The college campus does not have any swimming pool

Admission:

Minimum 45% marks is required in Physics ,Chemistry and Maths in class 12th. You can get the application form in Comed K website and in the official website of SJBIT(if you want to take direct admission or mangement quota}. No reservation as such . More information about the college admission should be available in the College website.

Likes

college campus has good environment in term of fresh air
college library is good in term of books journals and environmenet and infra

Dislikes

college infrastructure is too basic just some straight buildings are there

Admission:

Minimum 45% percent required in each subject visit COMED K website and reach sjbit.edu.in(for management quota). application form fee is around 1800 .1st feb to 5th of april is the registration date. no resevation for non karnataka students more information about the college should be available in the COMED K website

The faculties are very supportive in nature.
Environment friendly campus with greeneries around it.

Dislikes

The hostel gate closes at 9:30 which is too early for college students.
The campus road is in slope like you have to climb up the slope to go to college which exhausts most of the students in the morning itself.

Admission:

The admission is done in three ways, one is through Comedk another is through Kcet and the last one is through Management quota. The application form for the comedk exam and the kcet exam id are found on the respective websites. For the management quota admission, one needs to come to the college to get admitted. The eligibility criteria for admission through comedk is a minimum of 60% marks in the 12th board exams. The cutoff rank to get a seat in CSE through comedk is around 24000 and for Data Sciences is around 25500.
