My cousin was studying here. His great reviews motivated me to join this college. SMIT is located in a very peaceful location, and has a very good environment. Classes are held regularly and the faculty of the college is quite dedicated towards the students. This college is very academically inclined and also has good quality classrooms and labs.

Situated at a peaceful and beautiful environment in Sikkim, SMIT has an excellent infrastructure and faculties that happens to be the foremost reason to get admission here. Then comes the placements. SMIT is one of the best colleges that provide best placements. 85-90% of placements isn't a joke that too in the leading companies like Dell, Infosys, etc.

Most importantly the placements. SMIT has a good provision of quality placements with a rate of 90% in companies like Microsoft, Dell, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, etc. The teachers are like own parents. The infrastructures are of good standard. Located at a beautiful location in Sikkim.

The serene environment in which it is located is beyond everything, also some of my family members have completed their graduation from here and had given excellent reviews such as amazing faculty members, great infrastructure, extra- curricular activities, and beautiful environment and now me myself have been witnessing all of them and I feel really blessed.

I chose SMIT because it falls under Manipal University, making it one of the best options for a UG course in North and NE India. The second major reason for me to make this choice was that the location of the campus is on a hillstation, and it has got one of the most beautiful sceneries to offer. I can't stress the fact enough, how beautiful the landscape of the region is, filled with hills, rivers, valleys and immense greenery. This gives one a sense of freshness and an ability to focus on studies which is not very much possible in an urban region. The next reason is that the faculty (CA dept. ) is really good. All the professors hold a PhD degree, at the very least, and they've got good communication skills and can communicate the ideas easily to the students in simple language. Apart from this, they actually care about the students and would go an extra step to make the student overcome his difficulties, if he's facing any. Another reason to make this choice was that the college has got a really good infrastructure and is equipped with latest technologies in classes and laboratories. Apart from these there were many small reasons like proximity to hometown, curriculum, etc that made me go for SMIT.

Placement is good. A healthy environment for student. There is a composition in everything. College as it's own sports summing canteen area. My brother was ex-student and got placed in good company in which was multinational Erriction.

Quality education is the primary factor. SMIT has no compromise on the basis of quality in education. Another factor is the placements. Companies like Microsoft, Infosys, Dell l, etc hire students from our college giving an average package of 20 lacks P. A. The college has well equipped infrastructure that includes digital classrooms, Well equipped labs. Not only academics, SMIT also promotes extra curricular activities. It has a world class sports complex.

Not to supportive with student, non of them encourage student for sports and other extra curricular activities.

The college infrastructure and environment is maintained well.The college internet works well. Faculty members are good and friendly. The education quality is very good. So many people comes from outside.

Very very good college for a student. Good environment, good teacher, nice classroom, nice hostel. The placement is very good. Good security for all students and teachers. Helpfull people are also there.
