Course Description

The application process for Sambhram Institute of Technology, Bangalore is offline only.

  • Candidates can download the application form from the official website or can collect the prospectus and the application form from the college.
  • Fill up the form correctly and affix a recent passport-sized photograph in the designated place.
  • Attach self-attested photocopies of necessary documents along with application form.
  • A Demand Draft towards application fee of INR 500 drawn in favor of “Sambhram Institute of Technology” payable at Bangalore has to be sent along with the application form.

Various BE specializations along with seat intake for admission 2020 are:

  • Electronics & Communication Engineering 
  • Mechanical Engineering- 180 seats
  • Civil Engineering
  • Computer Science Engineering 
  • Information Science Engineering `

Eligibility Criteria

  • Pass in 10+2 examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology/Electronics as recognized by V.T.U.
  • Minimum 45% aggregate in Science. (40% for SC/ST and other OBC students applicable to Karnataka students).

Selection Criteria

Admission is through counselling based on the rank/ score obtained in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) and COMED-K conducted by Karnataka examination authority. Only qualified candidates with a valid rank will be able to participate in KCET 2020 Counselling. 

Key Points for BE Admission:

  • 50% of the total seats will be filled through KCET.
  • 25% of the total seats will be filled through COMED-K and the remaining 25% will be filled through management quota.
  • Candidates belonging to OBC/SC/ ST category get a relaxation of 10% marks in the aggregate score.

Steps of KCET 2020 Counselling

  • 3 rounds of counselling namely – Verification, Option entry, Allotment of Seats takes place.
  • To simplify the counselling stages there is a rank wise division of dates/time slots to visit the helpline centres for the verification of documents.
  • Training is provided to the candidates for option entry across all the available helpline centres.
  • The last step is allotment of seats which is done as per the preferences of the candidate and availability of seats.

1.  10% concession on 1st year Tuition Fees only shall be offered to students as per below shedule                              
     (Shedule: Merit – 70% and above, Sports State level, Defence, Airforce, Sambhram PUC Students, BPL Card)                                                                                     
2.  Minimum Rs. 25,000 to be paid at the time of admission and balance to be paid before commencement of classes without fail
