My experience in ssn

Likes

The college campus is very greenish and huge. As it is situated in outskirts you are free from a lot of noise.
The staffs here give the student high level of independence and students are allowed to do what pleases them.

Dislikes

The college is in the outskirts of chennai and it takes around 2 hours to reach the main city of chennai.
Compulsory bus fees for day scholars increases the cost of living in PG

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for company placements. The placement for computer science and IT courses is very good. For the mechanical department, it is pretty average and you can expect an average salary of 6 lakh per annum and the highest of 12 lakh per annum in core companies and the highest of 18 lakh per annum in IT or management companies. Most of the students in mechanical opt for higher studies but 90% placement is provided for all the students. I plan to go for MBA after graduation.

Likes

Infrastructure facilities like library, wifi
And Sports facilities also excellent here.
And Faculty members are so helpful for learning.

Dislikes

Hostel food is not much food. But manageable.

Placement Experience:

Placements are excellent in my college. All kind of companies will come. Highest package is 25lakhs and average package is 4LPA. 99% of the students will be placed in any of the companies. My plan is to do the job after degree.

College campus ( u get a chance to see many movie shootings)
Friendly staffs.
U are given more freedom in this college.

Dislikes

Hostellers are not allowed to board dayscholars bus.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year onwards placement training is given. And some get placed before their 6th semester itself. The highest package is 1cr per annum and the average package is around 20LPA. Almost 90% of students are placed. Many top companies like Wipro, Infosys, tata, hcl, cts, Deloitte, mr.cooper, etc. The offers made are around 1000.

The infrastructure and campus life is extremely good.
The faculty are very kind and friendly.
They provide internal funded project for student

Due to covid the semester has been reduced to four months which cause stress to the student

The curriculum is credited based and the syllabus is not so vast. For each subject, you will have a maximum of 5 chapters which should be completed by the prescribed hours. Faculties are outstanding and well-versed in their field. They have superb knowledge about the subject. Most of the faculties here are friendly and lenient and most of them are Ph.D. holders.
