Rajiv Gandhi Institute of PetroleumTechnology offers B.Tech/IDDInternship Embedded Program to the students to gain industrial experience. It is a 16 weeks long program which helps the students to familiarize the manufacturing and process associated in the industry.

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of PetroleumTechnology focuses on overall development of the students and encourages to participate in different sports activities organised by the institute. RGIPT offers outdoor sports facilities for gameslike badminton, basketball, volleyball, tennis, football, kho- kho, cricket as well as indoor games like chess, carrom and snooker. The social clubs main focus is to promote health awareness and financial empowerment. The clubisalso active in organising events like tree plantation and swacch bharat abhiyan.

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of PetroleumTechnology providesseparate hostel facilities for boys and girls. Being a residential institute, it is compulsory for the students pursuing a course at RGIPT must avail the hostel facility. The hostel rooms are furnished withbed, study table, almirah, chair, fan and have adequate space with proper ventilation. RGIPT also provides mess facility with a seating capacity of 200 students. Wi-Fi and LAN facility is being provided to the students round the clock along with power back.

Overview of RGIPT: an institute of national importance

Fees and Financial Aid:

There is the facility of Institute fellowship which is 35000 per month for the first two years and 42000 per month thereafter for full-time research scholars. There is no stipend for part-time PhD students. The semester fees are the same as other institutes.
