Placement in rvce is very good for all circuit branches above 100000lpa easily but for core branches average is decent but good opportunities is provided for higher study and internships.
Majority of teachers are done phd in the respective degree and also they have great experience in the core field and provide deep insights and knowledge of the core content and they help student in other aspects.
The faculty were good in explaining things to the new students .

Dislikes

There are not much scholarship opportunities or financial assistance provided by the institution.
The management here is really bad, they cant plan things accordingly
The wifi facility is not good inside hostel, it's not available at all

The RVCE Tale

Likes

It has project system so you will have to keep learning and implementing it in your projects. You can't even miss one subject as you have to make one kind of project for each subject.
The teachers are very sweet and humble. They are friendly and of course there are some exceptions.
The seniors are VERY supporting, you can ask them whatever and whenever and they help you as much as they can.

Dislikes

The timings are way too much, college starts from 9am and ends at 4:30
Very less holidays compared to others so if you live far away from bangalore or are not rich, just forget about visiting home often.(Am not going home even for diwali....)
The Induction is very boring, they just tell something and something other happens.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements for top branches are good reaching upto 20 lakh average for ai/ml. And for the lower branches it is better to choose a government college instead of this, but are good compared to some other private colleges. The aerospace deparment also provides a lot of facilities.

Likes

Academics are great with rigorous studies and good level exams
Professors are great and very passionate about their subject and are open to answer doubts
Peer group is good with a lot of ambitious people and you can find people with similar interests very easily

Dislikes

Constant exams which creates unnecessary pressure which are not needed
Bad management which creates last minute changes which create confusion for everyone
Lack of holidays making many students homesick affecting academics

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from 7th semester. A multitude of companies like Deloitte, texas instruments, Microsoft and Cisco are present for placements. Average of mechanical is 8.52 LPA and highest package beint 62 LPA. Percentage of students placed is 85%

Likes

Academics,labs and research opportunities are plenty. The clubs are great and the senior culture is good
Professors are passionate with great interest in their respective fields
Facilities are plenty if you know how to grab them and peer group is good

Dislikes

Discrimination against non karnataka students for some teachers
Poor management in scheduling of events leading to a lot of confusion
Not adequate holidays which are essential for students

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are great since they heavily focus on academics for ece average is 15.79 for 2024 with highest package of 36 lpa from ece I think. Most of the top branches have awesome placentas so that shouldn't be of any concern

About RVCE

Likes

Professors are very knowledgeable in their respective field
Placement statistics are extraordinary and consistent
Location of the campus is nice, as it is near a metro station, so commute to and from the city is convenient

Dislikes

Infrastructure is sub par, although they are trying to improve
campus has been reduced from an open campus with multiple grounds to collection of buildings
very overcrowded with respect to the campus area

Placement Experience:

The placement statistics of this college is at the top, if not best, in Bangalore. The average package for each department has been stable and consistent and high. For Ece and Cse, the average has ranged between 10 to 15 LPA.

Likes

The support from the sports department for students.
The workshops they provide in college to improve technical skills
The placement they offer is one of the best part of rvce

Dislikes

Lot of renovation is going on soo campus looked messed up
The parking area need to be done somewhere else rather than doing it in ground
Supplementary exam fees can be reduced .

Placement Experience:

From first sem itself pg cet will be getting their campus placements highest till now is 36lpa and minimum is 8lpa and profiles are offered based on the branch 90 percent student will get placed.My plans after getting the degree is doing one more degree

My Honest Opinion on RVCE

Likes

The college management is flexible and they cooperate with the students in things such as competitions, tournaments etc. They help with providing attendence.
The college has a positive approach towards sports. There are many teams for sports like cricket football handball volleyball kabaddi kho kho etc
There are many technical and non technical clubs in the college in which the students can join. The technical clubs cover all the fields of engineering from rocketry to biotechnology .The non technical clubs conduct events and do social work

Dislikes

One of the things which i dislike about the college is that a good area of it is under construction. There is constant dust and not a lot noise.
Some days can become very hectic as classes continue from morning 9 to 4:30 in the afternoon.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements in the college is one of the best. Students are eligeble for placment from their 6th SEM . Some of the companies that come for placements are Qualcomm, NVIDIA, Airbus etc. The highest package offered this year was 92 lpa. My plans after getting the degree is to excel in my career

The ambience of the college which is more than expected
The teaching staff here is awesome and good and helpful
A good wifi facility in the college premises with good speed

Dislikes

There is construction work going on so the dust is more
The teaching staff is a bit dislike in some branches
The roads are too messy and also more dust

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem students become eligible for placements. There are some who get placed at 4th itself. As per my branch Qualcomm nvidia Intel texas instruments etc.92 lakhs is highest and 10 is the avg. 60 to 80 per cent students get placed. I am interested in working with ISRO

Likes

weather of the city it is situated is really good .
The placement stats of the college even for the lower branches is good .
Opportunity for higher studies is good in the college.

Dislikes

The hostel facilities like they only had 250 beds for first year and intak is approximately 900 .
infrastructure is small and also sports facilities is not too good

Placement Experience:

The placement for RVCE is really good like people choose this college only for placements and even for the lower branches like civil , iem placements are good . The exposure of this college towards companies are also really good , like top mnc comes to the college for reqriutemnt.

Very high Placements , this college’s average placement is highest placement of many other top college
Very supportive staff , helpful with study materials
Best for projects . Projects can be done in our department under our professors

Dislikes

Campus is not that good . It’s still getting constructed
Hostel is literally bad , food it way too bad

Students become eligible form 6th semesters Average placements of RV college of engineering is 40 lakh per anum and highest till date is 96 lakh per anum . Percentage of students getting placements is above 8.5
