RNSIT HONEST REVIEW

Likes

Campus is large and beautiful which was missing in many colleges of COMEDK
Faculties are very helpful , they always helps us , even outside the course if we ever need help , they do it
There are lot of opportunities and fests happening in this college , which is a really good thing. Means college life is much balanced

Dislikes

Some faculties are old, i think they must be replaced with some new and energetic teachers
It has dress , in exam times we have to compulsorily wear out college dress
We all want library to be open for 24/7 but it's closed on Sundays days and also on general holidays , and it closes early on Saturday , which we all hate the most

From 3rd sem students get eligible for internship offers, from 4th they starts getting placements, highest placement was 50 lpa which an AIML student craked , ece placements are quite decent in this college , but don't expect much from other core branches

Likes

The college has good faculties and well maintained class rooms and well maintained labs which are easy to excess.
The college has a large library where we can go and study and borrow books

Dislikes

They should not conducte much fests and they have been strict towards academics

Placement Experience:

In our college the placements starts from 6th sem and many compaines like 150 will come to college like accuntre, Infosys and tcs and many more compaines will come to the college. I want to nin google so i have to try by off campus so i can get the job and i loved the college

MY JOURNEY AT RNSIT

Likes

Campus infrastructure is very good, there is a good amount of space for parking as well
professors are very friendly and helpfull

Dislikes

Library is not at all quiet, it has become a room for group discussion

Placement Experience:

Placements are very good , Internship opportunity is provided to everyone from 3rd semester only,Occasionally placement trainings will also be there. Around 80% of students are getting placed every year according to the Management

improvement is needed in traffic management .
I felt very comfortable after seeing this campus
facultys are very supportive and student friendly

Dislikes

I dont like the traffic jam that happens everyday
wahrooms should be mainted more well and neat
And some classes are not cleaned and desks should be changed

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the cirriculum from good to very good in terms of relevance and comprehensivenee. The cirriculum covers the fundamental concepts in a stuctured manner and also introduce advanced topics that are very essentials nowadays.

Washrooms ,Cse intake is tooo high Greenary

Placement Experience:

The placements here are very good Starting from 6.5L and go upto almost 50L The percentage of students getting a placement id as high as 60% This college has been visited by some top companies like Amazon etc

The Collage memories

Likes

the materials and notes provided by our collage are very usefull
the strictness in the faculty of our department helped a lot
the practical lab are very effectieve and very helpful

Dislikes

less interest towards cultural activities
no proper guidence at the initial stages of the course
improper timetable setup for the classes

Course Curriculum Overview:

my course is electronics and communication and it is the very good and very demanding course at pesent day. This have very bright scope in the future and this is very very interesting course in all amoung the other courses in the engineering

The RN Shetty college

Likes

The staff of teachers and sirs is very understanding and cooperative
The placements are good and okay which is good for a tier 2 college
They won't force you for attendence and put more pressure on you.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is very good but you should travel by walk more as campus is vast for classes
There's construction everywhere which might be irritating sometimes
The entrance is quite like a temple not very modern

Placement Experience:

Usually just after 3rd year that's 6th sem students become eligible for placements. But only few students who are exceptionally well in academic and skill wise who had experience in internships will get placed. Except others might have to wait for 4th year to get placed. And our college gets good and average placements which is okay. You just have to work little more. Except if u didn't get placed, there's still a chance you can try outside campus.

There is a beautiful temple inside the college.
Faculty here are well experienced .

Dislikes

Traffic around the campus which makes it difficult to come on-time

Placement Experience:

The scene of placement is good here. Companies visit and offer on campus placement. College also train us for interview round . The highest package offered here last year was 51 lakh per annum. Average package is around 6 lakh per annum.

ambeance of the college and the lecturing and there is no burden on the assignments
fest on the college which makes you glow and hackathons
no ragging in the college, and u can practice coding or related to u r coures on library

Dislikes

to maintain above 75% attendence before semminar exams
no holidays for certian festivals and before exams for study

Placement Experience:

As per the previous year, placements are pretty good because an AIML student got 44LPA in 2025. heard the campus that many companies are visiting RNSIT.As per the records, they listed 45 LPA as the highest package, and around 70 to 80 % of students are getting placed

Campus is pretty chill, Has 2 huge grounds behind the campus which can be accessed any day, has a badminton court too
Faculty is pretty good, sometimes pretty strict but most times understanding
New buildings have good classes and labs

Dislikes

No AC in class rooms, No internet(SIM) access in buildings near Boys hostel (mainly Cyber Security Block)
Old buildings have subpar PCs which barely does the job
only one cafeteria/food court in entire college, gets overly crowded to the point of finding no seating, and the food there is subpar with very less options

Placement Experience:

Placement has been improving year after year despite the market being bad, but end of the day you will be relying on what you learn and what skills you develop to get a internship and a job, college also provides internships from 3rd year of engineering

I am having a good experience in this college. The faculty members are supportive and encourage students in both academics and extracurricular activities. The campus environment is good and there are various opportunities to learn new skills through workshops, events, and projects. I’m currently pursuing MCA at RNSIT. The college has good infrastructure, experienced faculty, and supportive staff. The teaching is practical and industry-focused. The campus is clean and peaceful. Placement support is decent, with many IT companies visiting. Events, workshops, and coding activities help us grow our skills. Overall, it’s a good college for MCA students.
