The college offers a merit-based admission process, including an internal test, with admissions primarily occurring in July. Classes run 2 to 3 hours, 4 days a week, with 5 to 7 lectures per course. Highly qualified in-house faculty provide excellent support, despite the absence of college fests or social events. The annual fee is relatively low at Rs. 16,000, with no extra parking charges (Rs. 5 for bikes, Rs. 10 for cars), and payments can be made via cash, demand draft, or cheque.
The fee structure is transparent, though some departments lack sufficient staff. The college has limited job placement opportunities, with fewer than 10 companies visiting annually. However, the Economics Department organizes internships featuring project work and educational tours in Bhubaneswar. The Jharkhand government offers a Rs. 10,000 annual scholarship, which can be applied for by purchasing and submitting a Rs. 100 form. The scholarship can significantly offset the annual costs, which range between Rs. 17,000 and Rs. 18,000, including tuition and other fees.
Fees are reduced in the second and third years, enhancing affordability for students with limited finances.
