Which one is better: CSE in Kiet Ghaziabad or IT in JSS Noida?

According to my experience as a former CSE student at KIET, choosing KIET over JSS Noida will be no doubt a good choice. You’ll also get the best infrastructure and faculty in the CSE branch. There are considerably more opportunities here to do something unique in your field. I have seen my seniors getting placed at reputed companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Adobe, Accenture, and Infosys, to name just a few. Just last year, i.e. 2023, the highest package that they secured was INR 48.89 LPA. Moreover, about 93.98% of my seniors were successfully placed.

The college is now autonomous so collge is able to teach only those subjects and things which was helpful for our future and placement.

The year-wise fees for my course is 139599 which I paid during my admission when I come to collge for physical reporting .When I came to collge the hostel was full so I can't get the hostel for me. The hostel fees in college is depends on the room you want to live like triple seater seet fees is 107000 and for single seater is 101000 . I am from up so I am eligible for UP scholarship , some private scholarship will also provided according to merit . Exam fees is 8000 yearly which I paid during end sem exams.

My college is have good infrastructure and greenary are well maintained.and the faculty is very supportive.

I have paid 149599 rs per year for Tution fee.Excluding hostel fee.and also I have paid registration fee around 2000rs.And also paid 1000rs for caution fee. My college provide the UP scholarship. Every year around 50000 rs.

KIET COLLEGE REVIEW FROM A NON HOSTELERS PERSPECTIVE

The college's yearly fees is 138000 but they show 119000 in the official documents and so far we don't think it will increase but definitely it may increase for the upcoming batches. The college provides support for UP state scholarship and students get around 57k for general category and around 1.12Lakh for Sc/St students.

Supportive Faculty, Updated Curriculum and decent placements, Overall a good college.

The syllabus is not the traditional outdated AKTU syllabus, and it is updated from this year due to the college being autonomous.

Talking about the fees, Since I am a Fee Waiver candidate, My tution fee is waived off and I have to pay only 39000 rs (20k to AKTU for the 1st year + 19k to college) per year. But I also have idea about the normal fee of the college which is 140k per year excluding hostel fee. Regarding the scholarship, the UP Government scholarship is available for students but a fee waiver candidate is not eligible for the scholarship.

Review of my College

The strict educational curriculum and the timings of the classes is from 9-5.

The fees structure was same for all the students irrespective of their caste. The tution fee for all the 4 years was 122000 and the hostel fees varied depending upon the choice of room of the individual. For triple seater the price is 96000. For double seater it is 98000. Fro single seater it is 102000. If you want to avail for an AC room it is the actual amount of the room including 25000 more for a single person in a triple seater. In double seater the price of AC is 50000. And for single seater it is 75000. Apart from this there is an extra examination fee which you have to pay in every year. It is around 8000 every year. The Lab fees, extra ciricular activities fees are all included in the tution fee. Also, there is a state scholarship programe in every state. For example if you're from UP then there are two scholarships Saksham scholarship and Pragati Scholarship. You can avail any of it based on your eligibility. The amount recieved varies between 50000 - 100000 every year.
