Faculty:

The faculty to student ratio is really good there are sufficient faculty for each and every course and the relationship is literally good and it is very easy to approach a faculty. The faculty i liked is my design and realisation sir ravi datt yadav he is such a awesome teacher with great knowledge. There are basically three exams in a semester mse 1 mse 2 and ese and there are two ca examination with mse which is mainly quiz based and it is very to pass exam and to score good marks .

A Balanced College Experience With Growth and Support

Faculty:

Faculty to Student Ratio at KIET is decent, and we get enough time with teachers in labs and in class. Most teachers are easy to reach and reply fast when we ask doubts after class. We can talk to them in breaks, and many also guide on projects and contests. Some teachers explain in a cool and clear way and relate topics to real life use; hence, classes feel easy to grasp. A few teachers also push us to think deeper rather than just doing the notes, which helps in coding and core subjects. On the flip side, there are a few teachers who stick only to slides and rush the unit without giving space for doubts. Classes with them are dry, and the pace is tough; hence, we have to learn on our own. The exam pattern has two mid-terms and one end-term in each term. The paper is mixed with MCQ and long questions. The level is not too hard if you study from notes and past papers. The pass rate is high, and the drop count is low. The course plan is set by the university, so some parts feel old, but labs and add-on tasks help link things with real tech use.

faculty is good but some are old teachers following old creteria which is boring .

Faculty:

see New branches like Aiml AI have good faculties they are new they understand a student mindset so they are lenient and talk like our friends but some branches like CSE CS IT have old teachers which frustrates all students.I like AIML faculty bcoz they understand each and every student and most of them are from NITs.I dont like IT CSE faculty.there are 2 mid sem and One end sem in a semester . Mostly students clear the exam 5 to 10 percent fails.Now new course has been introduced which includes many new things.

Faculty:

Our college have good student faculty ratio 25 students per faculty.In our college some are very good faculties like Thammali Gangadhar sir who teaches us Advance data structures. Vinita dviwedi mam who teach us math. There are three exams in one semester . They moderate but some students fail like 5 in 75 students.course curriculum Is good and relevant.

Very strict standards are applied for attendance criteria. Some of the faculty verifies Medical application way seriously making it tough to bunk classes

Faculty:

In my year of college course was old but now KIET is autonomous which gives it freedom to make its own curriculum which as per my understanding is better than other AKTU colleges (private) In lab of 80 students there are 4 teacher that makes student to teacher ratio 20:1 On every 20 student there is 1 cordinator assigned . Exams are taken in 6 phases in 1st year Pre CT1 , CT1 , Pre CT2 ,CT2 , PUE and then makeup exams for students with valid reasons such as medical leave . In first year Deepti Seth ma'am of mathematics is very good teacher but very strict as well . Where as in 2nd Year mostly every teacher is good , leaving the TAFL faculty they all are frustrated all the time maybe they have became like their subject Exams are quite moderate in difficulty terms but never easy it can be moderate to high moderate , In 2nd year there is only 2 exams CT and PUE that's it Which is of 60 and 70 marks respectively in which you need to score minimum 24 and 28 respectively otherwise you need to do extra classes while other will have fun

The first thing i like most that is our helping teachers and seniors too. seniors have very helping nature they guide us a lot so that we can learn from them mistakes . Faculity are of very good behaviour and very supportive each and every fields.
Now its a autonomous university we get many benefits from this , faculty preapre us according to exam and students gets higher cgpa .

Faculty:

The faculty to student ratio is around 1:16 , faculty are too supportive and helping nature they helps us a lot they help us to take permission granted to go outside the campus for hackathon , events , conferences etc. There teaching method is very simple they teaches us aacording to syllabus , they are very energetic too. students overall rating towards faculties are 4/5. Examaniation system is very favourable that is internal CTs , then midsem 1 , midsem2, at last external sem/ end sem . overall difficulty of examination is moderate and doable moderaltly to score . almost 95% student passed in thier respective semester . As now autonomous authority they provides us many elective subjects and skills in different tech fields. Industrilist teach us many tech skills like full stack , devops, app de and many more options. They also provide some external course like personal growth through soft skills and also provide foreign language leanings. They also focused to teach us embeeded system , drone technology , Robotics etc. Overall course is relevant and worthy.

Faculty is very good but also I don't want strict faculty as they will force you to attend the classes also in autonomous u have to maintain 75 percent attendance in all subjects not overall otherwise you will not allow in exam

Faculties are very good and extremely supportive.If you have a plan and want to pursue it,they will help you in every possible way.Most of the faculties are PhD holders and have good background.Teaching is done on smart boards and many group discussions also happen in class. Student to faculty ratio is very good.There are many good faculties but few stand out in my department Dr Chandra Mohan Batra(HOD of first year)also teach calculus and linear algebra he is so helpful and so knowledgable and other is Mr Bikki Kumar my AI faculty Btech from NIT and masters from DTU he is very supportive and helpful he goes out of his comfort to help the students in every possible way.There a total 2 mid semester exams, 5 class assesments and end semester examination in a year and many class quizzes.

Are the professors at KIET good?

I am a B.Tech CSE (AI) student at KIET Ghaziabad.

Our department faculty is experienced and qualified. But the AKTU curriculum needs revision and update. The first year curriculum teaches Applied Science, which is not useful for CSE students.

At present, the job market is not in a good condition. This is especially true for the IT sector. This is the reason why CSE/IT placements wouldn’t be as good as expected at KIET and other engineering colleges. The average package for CSE in 2024 at KIET is expected to be around 6 LPA, which is not a very attractive figure.

Apart from the faculty and placements, KIET also offers decent infrastructure. The classrooms are fully Air-conditioned, and the canteen serves good quality food. The computer labs are well equipped with properly functioning computers that have good specifications. The entire campus has wifi facilities, but in some areas the access is blocked. One can’t use a VPN inside campus.

Thus KIET offers good faculty and facilities, especially for B.Tech CSE and related branches.
