Admission to the college is determined by the JEE Main Paper 2 ranking, with students securing seats through state counseling after achieving a good rank. The college boasts a highly educated faculty, including PhD holders, who are dedicated to teaching and providing support through extra classes. This commitment contributes to high student satisfaction. The fee structure is affordable for a government institution, with mess dues around 30,000 INR per year and college dues totaling 40,000 INR annually.

Each semester incurs a 1,700 INR miscellaneous exam fee. Placement opportunities are primarily available for B.Tech students, with companies like Wipro, TCS, Vedanta, and Cognizant participating.
