- The teachers are very helpful. The whole faculty have always been very helpful and supportive.
- The lab is well maintained with everything needed.
- The placement cell is also good. They bring many companies and present many other placement opportunities.
Dislikes
- The experience of Library is horrible. The library needs to be upgraded. The books are very much outdated. Many books are not available so they give pdf copies or links to those. And the available books are from 2010 or 2012 like from that back.
- The computer labs are not equipped with AC. In summer it's very difficult to concentrate .
- The canteen is there but no so full of options. And newrby shops are atleast 10 mins away. But new shops are opening recently.
Placement Experience:
The placement is good in this college. In our cse department around 8 to 9 people including me got placed. In ece department as I heard almost 20 people got placed.
Many companies like Capgemini, tech Mahindra, Deloitte and many start-up companies came. Deloitte, Bentley and some other companies came but didn't recruit anyone.
Highest package this year was 7LPA.
After recession the Percentage of students getting placements decreased.
I got placed in tcs and now will be joining.

- Friendly and helpful faculty members and staffs
- College environment is very peaceful and calming
- Campus is well maintained and lush green
Dislikes
- Location: which is about 1km from the main road which need to be walked

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 3rd year i.e, 5th-6th sem
80%student got placement from various MNCs. Also many students got more than 2 offers. My plans are to sit for the campusing.

On-campus placement of our college gkcem is good. Every year more than 60 per cent of students got on-campus placement offers. This year's placement session just started, and from our department more than 60 per cent of students got placement.

The college placement of Greater Kolkata College of Engineering and Management is really good. Last year our college the best package was around 10 LPA and the average package was around 4 LPA. More than 80 present students are placed last year.

From the 7th semester, we are eligible to sit for placements, many famous companies like TCS, CTS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. come for placements. Around 80 % of students got placed last year during the campus placement.

Students are eligible for placements from 7th-semester. A lot of companies visited in our college like TCS, CTS, Wipro, Infosys and Cheeg, Zensar etc highest package in our college is 7 LPA and the average package is 3.5 LPA. Almost 80 to 90% of student get placed, and my plans after getting a degree are to get the job.

Placement support is excellent. The college has good training and Placement cell. Many companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro etc visited the college. Almost 90 percent of students get placed of packages between 5 to 4 lacks per anum.

Placement cell in gkcem always performs a sincere role in locating jobs for undergraduate students. They always keep them updated in touch with reputed firms and industrial establishment.

Campusing and placement facility of our college is very good. College provides us with proper training to crack the interview in campusing. They help us amazingly.
