GKCEM- read befor you go

Likes

The teachers are very helpful. The whole faculty have always been very helpful and supportive.
The lab is well maintained with everything needed.
The placement cell is also good. They bring many companies and present many other placement opportunities.

Dislikes

The experience of Library is horrible. The library needs to be upgraded. The books are very much outdated. Many books are not available so they give pdf copies or links to those. And the available books are from 2010 or 2012 like from that back.
The computer labs are not equipped with AC. In summer it's very difficult to concentrate .
The canteen is there but no so full of options. And newrby shops are atleast 10 mins away. But new shops are opening recently.

Admission:

I applied for GNIT and this college. But I got chance in this college prior and one of the my known senior passed out of this college and he told me this college would be good and also cheaper than GNIT.

Campus is good. Friendly faculties. Emerging talents are encouraged.

Friendly and helpful faculty members and staffs
College environment is very peaceful and calming
Campus is well maintained and lush green

Dislikes

Location: which is about 1km from the main road which need to be walked

Admission:

Eligibility is of BTech course is of 4 years. Admission is based on WBJEE rank, JEE main rank and reserved management quota. Admission forms can be availed online, or the the admission cell of the college. Application fees around 10,000INR

I took the JELET exam though they contacted me and the entrance was quite easy to go I didn't opt for reservation benefit college campus is good teachers are helpful and eligible for courses but the location situated a little bit far

I applied for GKCEM College For My Choice It is a very good College. In our college Is many Quota I have admission done by SC quota. Minimum maks is 60% I think. age is your no matter it is 13+ also. I have chosen my College & go into college with my all documents & everything the process is also done & there is no problem in any haphazard way for admission very peaceful & very easy process.
