Scholarship has been given by the ts government for fee reimbursement for the students as well as separate 5000 and nsp well given the 10k to merit students.
The faculty with good knowledge helps us to improve in our education
Placements are good in campus, well infrastructure and good modies nature in campus, and course are cse, ce, mech, eee, it, ds, aiml, etc

Dislikes

Dislike the faculty of core department.they fail to provide the more information about subject
We have no hostels around the college as we have to travel
The mobile signal is dead in the campus, which is quite frustrating

Things mostly liked in our is other than academics we have other events also

Dislikes

In our college we don't feel like we have gender equality all show some more attention to girls

Placement Experience:

Our college has most successive rate in placements from past 5 years we are getting average of 3.5 lpa . In curriculum from 2 year 4 th sem they have started the placement sessions which will improve us .

good college environment , full of greenery
college campus area is fully spacious and relaxing

Placement Experience:

From the end of sixth semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visited our college like Accenture, tcs, saddle point, ibm, cognizant, wipro, darwin box, ITC, and others companies, the average package can be around 5 Lakhs per annum, the highest package can be around 20 lakhs per annum.

My life in GRIET

Likes

The infrastructure of college is very eye catching, filled with greenery where i can study in a environment of fresh air. The auditorium of our college is so astonishing where thousands of people can sit.
The several technical and non-technical activities like coding round programs, cultural programs and many other are held and i like these because they bring our inner talent out. Due to these programs i have gained social interaction skills.
Our college has best placements where i have placed with 6.5lpa package. So many other people like me have got placed through the teaching skills of our faculties and with the support of Training and placement cell group.

Dislikes

Our college doesn't provide more practical knowledge on lab practical's. So i lack in practical knowledge and i dislike it because of lack of practical things which they didn't provided for us.
They didn't provide AC in all branches. Only in CSE branch they provide. so i thought its a discrimination for other branches and i dislike this.
Parking is difficult sometimes and they should have provided more space for it. Sometimes seniors rag juniors so i even dislike this activity.

Placement Experience:

Placements of our college is quite good . After 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. around 100 companies have offered to our college. some of them are accenture, tcs, kellanova, gap inc., peleton, saddle point technologies, tech mahindra, ltts, cognizant, capgemini, hyundai, fintech, real page etc,. Highest package is around 44lpa and average package is around 6lpa. Most of them are SDE role and GTE role which are software development engineer and graduate trainee engineer. Around 80% students are placed and some of them might be planning for higher studies or own business or start ups. My plans after getting the degree is I actually got placed through campus placements of package 6.5lpa. So, I will be doing job after 1 month as i have got my offer letter recently.

Very good college experience with little tweaks

Likes

Campus recruitment training and opportunities they provide during placements, colleges location and computer centre was upto the mark
Some of the faculty were very supportive and helped to do the project even in 2md year of the college
Very good participation in events , fests and cultural

Dislikes

Some of the faculty were under prepared for the subject they teach
Some labs were not have correct hardware and software which were relatively old

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the college is well planned and it includes all the courses that are required for the software engineers. The curriculum is planned in such a manner that students can plan to learn coding and data structures early so that we can kickstart our DSA training.Every semester we have a course which can help us to prepare for industry experience such as life skills , entrepreneurship skills.The frequency and timing of the exams are good , each semester takes around 5 months and the difficulty of the exams are decent and can score good marks with decent preparation. The only improvement that can be done is to remove some of the important courses from electives.

Review on my college

Likes

The greenary and infrastructure of the college are the things which i like
I like the maintenance of the college and good management
I like the responsibility of faculties over providing placement opportunities.

Dislikes

I dislike the idea of the management giving more importants to higher branches like cse,it and other cse child branches
I dislike of conducting very less numbers of events
Dislike the faculty of core department.They fail to provide the more information about subject

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course which I choose is electrical engineering where I got it for my rank . I choose this college for better placement.There some faculty who are amazing at what they are doing but not some faculty lack commucate with students through the subject and they don't have much knowledge in the subject

The equipment and training classes are really good

Dislikes

Faculty is not that good they are not aware of the topics they are teaching itself amd they are learning along with the students idk why they hired them as professionals to teach us

Placement Experience:

Campus placements do exist , and it really depends on the person not much on gpa the highest was 40lakhs per annum one time , the lowest was 3lakhs , it really varies time to time but nowadays with advancment in AI and more competition placements aren't really guaranteed

College is good at education and educating students about new programing languages

Likes

Lectures are good and try to know the problem students fave and try to solve them
Environment of the college very good always
Library and labs are too good. There are many books to read in library

Dislikes

They have dividd the canteen in 2 divisions as boys and girls are not allowed to seat together
They don't have stable bus for nizampet . It's late many in the evening
They don't allow us to use phone at canteen and other places

There are well planed at academics They are always ready with the time table and exam dates and all And they have a well plan for educating us to new language like python and they know at what time which to be teached to the student so that he or she will be good at it

GRIET college review

Our college have a decent record in placements.
We get internships from 2nd year itself.
We have good cultural events like pragnya, pulse, spectra.

Dislikes

Parking is not good

Placement Experience:

We are eligible for campus placements from 4th semester . There are many number of companies who visit our campus like Amazon, TCS, Darwinbox, capgemini etc... The highest package offered in our college is 44 CTC from Amazon. 90% of the students get placements in our campus. I would like to get a good placement in our campus.

Gokaraju-The College (GRIET)

The thing I like the most in our college is that they encourage in all aspects of sports and allow all to participate.
Next thing is that the college scenary they grow the trees everywhere in the campus and maintain our campus clean
Placements are provided in the early years and they also provide internships for 2nd year and 3rd year students also.

Dislikes

Personally I don't like is that they won't conduct fests in our college they should conduct atleast 2 to 3 fests in an year
I don't like the way the facilities are teaching they teach well but the way I don't like as they teach if there are 2 to 3 members in the class.

Placement Experience:

Our college basically provides placements after 3rd year 1st semester. If anyone scored good in previous exams and has talent to do internship they can do it in 2nd year itself. Recently our college visited companies are gap and JP Morgan gap is providing a stipend of 35000 per month and JP Morgan is providing stipend of 75000 per month. The highest package in our college is 18LPA and average package is about 5LPA.

My Story

Likes

Good learning environment with proper faculty, they address our issues in a proper way
Even in the recession period we could some placements in our college
We can make many new connections in our college

Dislikes

It is more like a school than college very strict in college premises
Administration department is very slow in doing their works.
We cannot use mobile phone in the college if we found using them they show no mercy and take the mobile phone

Placement Experience:

Placements starts at the end of 3-2 generally you will be getting service based companies more in number and few product based companies are seen in our college average package is 4.5LPA in our college and if you are good student then you get upto 10LPA.

GRIET Hyderabad has been ranked 172 in the Engineering category in NIRF by MHRD. College regularly organises FDP for the students of different departments to provide them with better knowledge. GRIET also provides consultancy to the Government and industries through R & D centres. The faculties are highly educated with good academic backgrounds.

Courses:

GRIET offers B.Tech in degree Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Civil Engineering (CE), Information Technology (IT), Mechanical Engineering (ME), computer science & Business system and CSE.
M.Tech degree is offered in design for manufacturing, power electronics, VLSI, Computer science & engineering, structural engineering and data science.

Admissions:

70% of the seats in B.Tech are allotted on merit basis while remaining seats are allotted to the management/NRI candidates.
Admission is given to any Engineering college in Andhra Pradesh through a common entrance test (EAMCET). Tuition fees for 1 year of B.Tech programme are 1.22 lakhs.
For admission in M.Tech programmes, candidates must have a B.E. or B.Tech degree with minimum 55% aggregate and a valid score of GATE or PGECET.
Total tuition fees for the M.Tech programme is 1.14 lakh.

Infrastructure:

GRIET campus comprises a huge library, laboratories, water plant, solar water plant, canteen, classrooms and sports area. Computer labs are equipped with highly advanced software.

Placements:

The previous year, a total of 834 students from all the departments got placement from the college.
More than 100 students were placed with CTC above 6 lakh.
Famous companies which recruited the students of GRIET were Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, CISCO, Byju’s and many more. Highest salary package received by the students of GRIET was 41.6 lakh.

Many events are organised at the college like Spirals, Spices, X-Kernel, Quizzicals, Rhythms, Pragnya, PULSE, etc. GRIET has organised Hackathon Competition in association with Technology & innovation cell to inculcate the values of innovations and to promote technological advances. There are also various clubs that students can take part in like Gaming Club, and Robotic club.
