Scholarship has been given by the ts government for fee reimbursement for the students as well as separate 5000 and nsp well given the 10k to merit students.
The faculty with good knowledge helps us to improve in our education
Placements are good in campus, well infrastructure and good modies nature in campus, and course are cse, ce, mech, eee, it, ds, aiml, etc

Dislikes

Dislike the faculty of core department.they fail to provide the more information about subject
We have no hostels around the college as we have to travel
The mobile signal is dead in the campus, which is quite frustrating

The world inside GRIET

Laboratory Infrastructure - the way the labs are made is enough to fit a whole class with enough space and equipped with nice technology
Modern Learning Aids like projectors are fitted in every classroom for better communication and pictorial representation

Dislikes

There is an extra fee for the training and placement cell whereas I feel it should be included within the yearly fee

Placement Experience:

After the third year or 6th Semester you can take part in placements. There has been a lack of companies visiting this year. So far Infosys, accenture, cognizant, LSEG, Verisk have come for placements. The details are unknown to all the people but the highest package yet has been around 16-20 LPA. The Percentage of students getting placed is less compared to previous years around 20-30%

My college

Likes

I like the infrastructure of my college.it has great buildings and good atmosphere. The whole college have greenary and has a good environment.The college is clean and neat .
I like the studies . The whole faculty teaches very well and treats every student equally and helps students to gain good knowledge and have a great future
The placements in my college are good. We will be getting training from 2nd year itself for the placements. The training and placement department focus on every student for good placements and to get every student a job.

Dislikes

The college is so strict about the dressing code. They don't allow western .
Non technical events occur very rare in my college so I don't like it that much.

Placement Experience:

In my college we have huge placement. In companies from Hyderabad come to our college and offer a min package of 4-5 lpa and max to 50 lpa. So there's no issue regarding placements . My college offers a very good placements.

There should be a good auditorium but here there is no auditorium

The social life in Griet is so good .friends in Griet are really lovely.
The infrastructure of Griet is outstanding.
The placements in Griet is topnotch like we can expect very good placements from Griet.

Dislikes

The dislike the area of our campus it is very small.
The securities are so strict which makes us not to explore our small campus too.
The technology used in college is not good . The quality of laptops and lab equipments are not good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main reason for choosing this curriculum is I am very interested in aiml and aiml is the trending course. It helps our future to shine bright. I believe that Griet helps to teach aiml course in outstanding manner and I am looking forward to learn.

Having Better Environment and Infrastructure
The professors are quite good experienced
Very good at on campus placements and teaching

Dislikes

They don’t give any preference to Sports
Less events and less co-circular activities
The campus is too small and limited area

Placement Experience:

Our College has robust placement program that starts from the 3rd year 2nd Semester. Notable companies like TATA, Deloitte, Honeywell, Cognizant and LT Finance and among others regularly visit our campus. The highest package offered is 14 lakhs per annum, while the average package around is 3 lakhs per annum. Approximately 65 percent of students secure placements through campus drives. After completing my degree , I plan to pursue Masters in Computer Science

College, oh and the lessons.

Likes

The teaching is good and pretty strict so that makes us habituated to studying
Overall campus is huge so students feel free to roam about
The canteen is good and hygienic enough to eat

Dislikes

They have security guards all over that campus which makes it really suffocating
They don’t give importantance to extra curricular activities at all
They have issues with boys and girls roaming together

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teaching methods are mostly through PDFs which is a bummer, it's not that great. Teaching on board is more effective according to my personal experience. Timing of exams is pretty good, they give us enough time to prepare

Good placement training program to level up our skills
Offers numerous clubs and organisations that cater to diverse interests.
Provides a chance to build a professional network.

Dislikes

No proper interaction between seniors and juniors.
Careless management. Dosent solve the problems of students on time.
No research opporutnities or programmes are provided.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students will be eligible for placements. There are a lot of companies visited every year. Highest package was in 2019 was offered by Microsoft around 45lpa. Percentage of students getting placed is varied eavh year from 40-60 percent.

Wonderful journey of my graduation

Likes

Our college has very good placements and they give good concerntration on placements
This college has very good recognition in society and very eco-friendly staff and mentor system is present for each student

Dislikes

They concentrate mostly on studies and they wont give special care for sports and other extra curicular activities
Fest and events are given less priority and everyone are not allowed to participate in them
For placement training they seperate students inton different batches and top batches are given advaced training

Course Curriculum Overview:

On total we have 8 semesters and each semester has some labs and theory subjects. Each lab is equipped with good and sophisticated equipment. Every lab has lab assistants who guide us how to use those equipment without any problem

GRIET Hyderabad has been ranked 172 in the Engineering category in NIRF by MHRD. College regularly organises FDP for the students of different departments to provide them with better knowledge. GRIET also provides consultancy to the Government and industries through R & D centres. The faculties are highly educated with good academic backgrounds.

Courses:

GRIET offers B.Tech in degree Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Civil Engineering (CE), Information Technology (IT), Mechanical Engineering (ME), computer science & Business system and CSE.
M.Tech degree is offered in design for manufacturing, power electronics, VLSI, Computer science & engineering, structural engineering and data science.

Admissions:

70% of the seats in B.Tech are allotted on merit basis while remaining seats are allotted to the management/NRI candidates.
Admission is given to any Engineering college in Andhra Pradesh through a common entrance test (EAMCET). Tuition fees for 1 year of B.Tech programme are 1.22 lakhs.
For admission in M.Tech programmes, candidates must have a B.E. or B.Tech degree with minimum 55% aggregate and a valid score of GATE or PGECET.
Total tuition fees for the M.Tech programme is 1.14 lakh.

Infrastructure:

GRIET campus comprises a huge library, laboratories, water plant, solar water plant, canteen, classrooms and sports area. Computer labs are equipped with highly advanced software.

Placements:

The previous year, a total of 834 students from all the departments got placement from the college.
More than 100 students were placed with CTC above 6 lakh.
Famous companies which recruited the students of GRIET were Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, CISCO, Byju’s and many more. Highest salary package received by the students of GRIET was 41.6 lakh.

Many events are organised at the college like Spirals, Spices, X-Kernel, Quizzicals, Rhythms, Pragnya, PULSE, etc. GRIET has organised Hackathon Competition in association with Technology & innovation cell to inculcate the values of innovations and to promote technological advances. There are also various clubs that students can take part in like Gaming Club, and Robotic club.
