I like the faculty ettappan hw was very good at teaching and clearing doubts any time
Students who have good score in +12 are provided with scholarship.
The college conducts a grand event named 'takshashila' which is an excellent cultural program where students are made to showcase their talents and skills.

Dislikes

Public Transport is very worst and it is not easy to reach campus through public transport since it is located in a remote place
Bus fees is compulsary and the charges are same for all distance students.
The college is not vast and just 30 acres

Life @ CIT

Likes

Campus life was very enjoyable with very amiable staffs.The campus is huge and is a great spot to hang out during culturals.
The campus will be so lively . Always there will be something interactive.
The curriculum was very relating and i was able to gain more knowledge with respect to my domain

Dislikes

Sanitation and hygiene can be a downside in cit. Restrooms and corridors may not be appreciably clean
Transportation is something that I disliked about cit. Sometimes the drivers drive so rashly and create more disturbances
You may not have a very big canteen . So will have to bring your own food from house

Course Curriculum Overview:

Electronics and communication was a course that I opted out of interest for both hardware and software. To satisfy my thirst, the curriculum was boarded with embedded systems, analog circuits, data structures, electronic devices and circuits, control systems, digital system designs, data structures, Python, and so on. This made me confident in hardware as well as software.

From 6 th semester students become eligible for placement and the companies visited my college is for example we can say TCS , Accenture, HCl,etc..the highest salary package is 60lpa from Microsoft lower salary is always around 3.5 lakhs per annum

The campus life is very good at Chennai institute of technology
Outside classroom activities are highly encouraged by the staffs and the chairman
Very good college to choose if placements are your main goal.

Dislikes

Very small campus compared to other colleges which are nearby.
Inexperienced staff count is very high than experienced staff
Sometimes the faculties seems pushy and clingy

Placement Experience:

From sem 6 students are eligible for campus placement, more than 800 offers were made last year and the highest salary package was 40lpa by the company autodesk. Companies like Accenture, capegemini , zoho , Microsoft visits our college. The average placement salary offered is 5lpa and the lowest is 3.5lpa . 95% of the students get placed in companies. My plans after getting a degree is to get placed in a company

Likes

Infrastructure and the friendly environment with the faculty members
You will allowed to participate in any cultural event in respective of the course you choose
The campus placement will be 100% irrespective of the course .

Dislikes

The distance between the college will be more even compared to other colleges in the city

The faculty members that my department as are all experienced more that 10 years in their field and more that 75% of them are phd graduates.our institution is well known for the industries experience and you will have a knowledge about the company and will know how the company works .

Chennai Institute of Technology is an amazing college for mechanical and mechatronics.

Likes

Here in this college the placements options are very high
This college stands 2nd place in the NIRF ranking in tamilnadu for mechanical and mechatronics
Very beautiful and grand culturals and events conducted by the college.

Dislikes

The hostel mess food is little bad which theyu can improve a bit more

Placement Experience:

The final year students that is from 7th semester students become eligibile for campus placements. But if you showed interest and perform very well there are chances to get placed even in the 3rd year or even from the second year end. The highest average package is 6 lakhs per annum and the highest package can go upto even 50 lakh per annum. Here in this college 100 % of the students will be placed.

Far from the city Center where transportation is increasing now only
Some may feel pressure with lot of works to manage
Some oppurtunities are not utilized by students due to acknowledgement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement drives starts at 6 semester itself(pre final year) and will expand throughout your final year even behind.The Trainings for Placements are incredible as Various staffs are there to coordinate and provide support for you during the period.There will special trainings for those who want to continue their specific goals like AIML,Pega and so on.The More Input(effort) you give,the more easier yoou get placements.

They will make you study and get clear in your semester

Dislikes

Pressure they will give a lot of works during in academics as well as in your tranings

From third year the offical placement traning starts they will teach you the Aptitude ,Technical and as well as the Softskill traning all these traning will carry out with the well tranined officals ,But from first year itself you have separate period for all the classes in between the academics schedule they start teaching you from basics to advanced Your opnion will be asked if you want to do higher studies you can otherwise you can take the placement traning ,They bring you many comapines for on campus for the students focus on your traning and prepare well you will get your job at right time.The average salary pacakage is INR 5.5lpa and the highest Salary package of 2023 placement is INR 44lpa.
