Course Curriculum Overview

I can understand and learn electronics and communication engineering and the skills and technology required for my career can be achieved through this college and as for areas of improvement in course curriculum is teaching methods

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 165000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Microsoft offered sde role for 1.35 lakhs per annum for two students and many other companies like TCS , Accenture,HCl, kaar and many companies they offer six months or three months internship and recruit the best ones

Placement Experience

From 6 th semester students become eligible for placement and the companies visited my college is for example we can say TCS , Accenture, HCl,etc..the highest salary package is 60lpa from Microsoft lower salary is always around 3.5 lakhs per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees is not increased after joining the college and it is fixed and only other extra fees like laundry fees exam fees etc is only asked from our side beside college fees,the complete cost of my education is 11-12 lakhs

Campus Life

I involved myself in college cultural event named takshashila and hosted few events both technical and non technical events are there in our college culturals and I have also hosted many events in my department symposium

Hostel Facilities

There are 6 in my room including myself which is quite a lot considering the size of the roomand the quality of meals is also medium not that good compared to general foodand the registration process and everything comes with the college fees payment and we don't have to do anything separate

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Admission

I came under management seat and the eligibility or cutoff for my course is above 180 in my time and it is currently rising for every year .I haven't benefited any reservation because I took management seat and the application for the college is done with the help of staffs .the exams are medium and the frequency is not that small

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

Dislikes

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.
