The curriculum is fully upto date with the new updated content . The selection of courses are highly standard and we also write NPTEL exams and our college also provides credits for these exams. We also have a core course project every semester .

at the end of each semester , during the semester holidays , we are encouraged to attend internships . I have done a research paper in my second year internship , I have also worked at a startup as an intern in my college . In my third year , i got a internship in a good company

The placements are very good in CIT. The placements usually starts in third year itself , so students get more exposure and internships. The training for these are very good , it includes aptitude,technical skill and also training for soft skills.

I am currently a final year student at Chennai Institute Of Technology . I came to this college by TNEA counselling; my cutoff was 190/200 .scholarships are provided by the college. Both Management and government quota are available

The social life is well balanced in CIT . we have many clubs and cultural activites . Each events are fully orgainsed and hosted by the club/members of the club. We have annual grand cultural called as takshashila which happens for three consecutive days. We also have sport events happening regularly.

I applied to CIT because of their: 1.High Placement records 2.Availablity of foreign languages 3.Feedbacks from seniors I applied for different courses(CSE,IT,AIDS,CSBS) and I got IT department beacuse the previous year closing cutoff was 190.

The teachers are very friendly and approachable .For a single semester we have two internal assessments and a model exam , before model exams we have UPC(university preparation classes) for about a week , which helps to prepare for final semester exams.

There are many good cafeterias available here . We also have gym,library , tennis court etc. The hostel facilities are very good . The college timings are usually between 8am to 3pm . But both hostelers and day scholars can stay back and work in labs if they require.
