I like the faculty ettappan hw was very good at teaching and clearing doubts any time
Students who have good score in +12 are provided with scholarship.
The college conducts a grand event named 'takshashila' which is an excellent cultural program where students are made to showcase their talents and skills.

Dislikes

Public Transport is very worst and it is not easy to reach campus through public transport since it is located in a remote place
Bus fees is compulsary and the charges are same for all distance students.
The college is not vast and just 30 acres

Tamilnadu's best self financing college

It is one of the top self financing colleges in Tamilnadu . So Quality of education is good and we are practically educated through competitions .
In every semester we have to do projects and internships. So by that we are improving our practical knowledge and industrial experiences.
One of the best things is that placements because almost 95% of students are getting placed every year .

Dislikes

I heard my hostel friends saying that hostel food is below average
The location of the college is so complicated but the area is developing
There will be tests and exams within short period so it will be stressfull to cope up with exams and projects simultaneously.

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem onwards placements training will be started and companies will be coming. Accenture,HCL, world line ,TCS, Cognizent etc are visited. Highest package is above 50 LPA and average is like 5-6LPA. Moreoverly 95% above are getting placed.

The college was eco friendly.There were canteen in our College in which the food was in best quality and taste. Our College contains 13 centre of excellence each have a different domain
The hostel was in good condition and new hostel building with nine floors are in under construction hope it will open on September 2024 . The restrooms of hostel were totally hygiene and cleaned twice a day .rooms were cleaned daily.
The placement were excellent and 100+ companies were visiting the college for the placement.the average placement college of the placement were about 6LPA and Highest package of the year 2024 was 51LPA provided by Microsoft.

Honest review about chennai Institute of Technology

Likes

Very awfull and superb campus with good infrastructure
The labs avilable and the centre of excellence available are very good and have more domains
The academics teaching also very good and faculties very calm and well good in teaching

Dislikes

The PT hours issued are only 1 period a week which should be increased utleast to 2 periods a week

Course Curriculum Overview:

As our college is a autonomous college so ,the curriculum is totally different with full of practical knowledge and the teaching will be in the way of the student's domin interest. There will wast domin available for the students to get engage and participate with the domin lab and grow in there interested domin.

College campus is small, so many restrictions while going outside the college.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. TCS ,Amazon and many Japan companies are recruiting students in my college.The highest package is 52 lakhs per annum in Amazon and the average package is 6 lakh per annum.My plan after getting the degree is to place in Japan company.

Navigating Academia: A review of CIT

Likes

Many COE to explore and we are provided with lots of opportunities
Proper guidance for the courses and certification that we are undertaking

Dislikes

Even though the campus life is good, I'm worried about the infrastructure

Placement Experience:

This year a student of our college was placed for 51 lakhs per annum. The college provides the students various platform to bring up themselves. The stuffed ones shall survive this competitive world. Over 80 percentage of the students have got placed with good salary packages. Many companies like Microsoft, Google, Mitsubishi, econ, Zoho, TCS, and many companies are recruiting the students with better salary.

Thriving future for students

Likes

I personally liked that there are no senior junior barriers between students. Seniors help their juniors in many ways like platforms to be used to study.
College is training us in coding like using Data structures and algorithms. They also helps us to improve our aptitude skills

Dislikes

The infrastructure is little small. That's the only I personally dislike not more than that.

The college provides us many placement trainings from the first year itself. We are getting practiced both in coding and aptitude, not students from CS are getting practiced for coding, students from many core subjects also getting practiced with coding. Students are eligible to take placements from the pre final year. Currently the college have placed 94 percentage of students in our college's prefinal year. Our college have signed with many MOE's with various companies to provide job offers to the upcoming students.

Placement are offered to every student in my college during their 3rd year. But the training for placement are given from first or second year. Many companies like CTS, Worldline are coming to our college for campus interview. The highest package offered if 51lpa for two students from Microsoft. The average package is about 8 lakhs. Our college will place all the students who are interested in placement before they complete their studies.

The training they give us from starting is good

The students are eligible to attend placement from 5th semester. In total 92% of placement percentage is achieved for 2024 batch students with average package of 7lakhs per annum. The highest package provided by Microsoft with annual salary of 51.1 lakhs

Likes

I like the academic pursuits of this college which includes the mode of preparation the college follows in order to train the students for exams. UPC( university preparation classes) is one of the best mode of preparation given to students.
The balance offered by the college to both extracurricular activities and academic aspects
Importance offered to improve the skills of students which will be helpful during placements

Dislikes

More number of examinations which can be reduced a bit to relieve the students.
Canteen food can be replaced by more healthier food options.

Placement Experience:

From the 6 th semester students become eligible for campus placements. And the college provides excellent opportunities in terms of placements. The highest package offered by our college is 61.5 lakhs and the least package offered is 8 lakhs. All the students who aim to get placed in companies after graduation get placed in top companies at the end of their graduation. I ve planned to pursue my higher studies in abroad and I am preparing for GMAT.

campus life - the freedom they gave us helps me
The freedom here if you perform academics well then you will be given freedom to pursue your own intrest
Faculty here will be friendly too and not everyone and according to your behaviour it depends.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not up to my expectation though now it is being developed
Foods in the canteen is worse i did not like the canteen food for the past 4 years and there is no improvement
The sports opportunities is too low here and there is no room for development

Placement Experience:

The placement here is the key to join here mostly everyone who joined the placement training will get placed they analyse every students and segregate and train them my current batch which is 2024 has 92 percent of placement success.
