I like the faculty ettappan hw was very good at teaching and clearing doubts any time
Students who have good score in +12 are provided with scholarship.
The college conducts a grand event named 'takshashila' which is an excellent cultural program where students are made to showcase their talents and skills.

Dislikes

Public Transport is very worst and it is not easy to reach campus through public transport since it is located in a remote place
Bus fees is compulsary and the charges are same for all distance students.
The college is not vast and just 30 acres

college offers wide range of diversity and oppourtunity to explore different domains and interests, they support all interest of students.
They provide finanacial support to start startup with innovative ideas.

Dislikes

Some partiality among students are there in placements
The location of college is away from the city side, difficult to reach.

Placement Experience:

For sure i will suggest to join this college because they offer placements, everyone will atleast have one offer to hold and there are lot of companies coming in to hire. They provide such support and decidation to place all the students and give 100% placements guarantee.

Beauty and the Beast- Life at CIT

My college contains a good mode of relationship between teachers and students. most of the teachers will be friendly and help us in every critical situations. Also they encourage us in every aspects to evelop our extra-curricular activities.
my college often supports students to involve in various activities rather than the academics and provide prolong OD permissions if you need to work in projects or opt to conduct a program. they are so supportive.
the main advantage is that it is only required for you to study at the last month of the semester. other days you are free to do any activities you like but it must be productive.

Dislikes

the main i disliked with the college is that you have a main storming 1 month before exam which only focus on the academics and studies in depth. So you might feel pressured and depressed.
the infrastructure is not that much good enough.

Placement Experience:

My college offers placements but its not upto the marks. they focus majorlyu on CSE allied coursed rather than the other core courses. but the average placement offer would be equal to 6lakh per annum. but the placements is all within our hands. if we are eligible we get the job or else its waste of time and money to sit upon placements.

Rising CIT!

Girls to boys ratio was almost 25:40, in my batch. Some of the faculties who are specialised in the subject were really great and knowledgeable
The research Centers present and COE were really helpful for paper publications , also useful for Higher studies students as research papers add more value

Dislikes

Small campus, when compared to many of the engg colleges
Not much of importance to sports, so sportspeople cannot improve their skills in this college as they focus on academics maximum
Some faculties were bad and harsh, did not understand the pace of others students understanding

Placement Experience:

Students, based on their interest and skills can start getting placed from 2year/3rd semester and get into internships to many companies on various domains, but only a few could make it. The training for placement starts at 2nd year end and campus interviews begin at 3rd year/5th sem or 6th sem and based on your skills and cgpa, u are allowed for the interview. The highest package was 44LPA, which he got into by his own effort, but based on the offerings of our college, the highest package was 20LPA. The average package was 5LPA, and lowest being 3.6LPA to the final and remaining students. Almost all of the students get placed in some company , in decent package of 4LPA, and based on their skills and efforts, get placed above. Special training is provided to students based on their cgpa and their request to get help from training department. I don't have much knowledge on training department as I choose higher studies and was moved into COE to publish research papers.

campus life and social interaction : our college has more than 25 coe's (Centre OF Excellence ) it is nothing but the induatrial learning for example we have partership with KUKA company it is based on robotics if any one interested in robotics the
will get trained and lear in that respective coe,apart from this we have web and app development,additve manufactuing ,pega ,Ebhaga for mechanical student etc
placement and service: after ssn we are the second most top self financing college in tamilnadu ,our chairman has a lot of international affairs so that most of the foreign countries and other top mnc compnys visiting us ,and we have industry base tr

Dislikes

The size of our college is little bit smaller compared to other top colleges and we have no restriction for anything like dress code ,food ,we can do whatever we like
the main drawback is they didnot try to focus on our studies they help to imporve our skills in other activities like coding ,hackathons etc
the main reason i dont like about hostel is upto third year we have the rights to stay i n hostel after third year that means last year we want to stay in pg or outside of the college , we want to pay busfees for the college compulsory

Placement Experience:

from fifth semesseter students onwards they trains usffor our college placement ,more than 70 t0 150 companies visting our colleges like microsoft ,tcs , accenture , cisco, pega,and more startup companies average package including 4 lacks to 6 lacks per years , our seniors two of our senoirs placed in microsoft for the package of 50 lacks per year and more seniors are placed in more networking companies they provide 41 lacks ,28 lacks per year in tamilnadu we are the only one who provide more placement with 91 % percentage of students per year , i have a plan to do higher syudies after my degree

Life at CIT

Likes

The college cultural events will be celebrated in a grand manner.
All the students have rights to do their own work within the campus
Events will be coordinated by the college students so that they can learn more from that. It will be useful for their placements also.

Dislikes

The college timing will be earlier that other college
The exam preparation will be very strict and they will strictly follow their timelines
The campus infrastructure is very small in size

Course Curriculum Overview:

They framed the course curriculum in the advanced way. The syllabus is based on the current technologies and they will give you the practical work experience with that technology. The faculties are very much knowledged in the present technologies.

CIT-A good college with Different opportunities

Likes

Placement is good overall. Excellent training from CIT
On academic wise, They give separate academic training to excel in semester exams
Overall a decent campus with ambient atmosphere

Dislikes

Hostel food is very decent to be compared with other College hostels
Fees comparatively high when compared to other colleges
Public Transport is very worst and it is not easy to reach campus through public transport since it is located in a remote place

In placement training, they give separate training for technical and behavioural staff. In academic wise, They conduct separate program for 15 days to make their students excel in their academic exams.

The college has best placements for CSE and b tech IT.
They college helps students for higher studies at foreign universities

They have good placements for mechanical engineering in our college and students get an average placement of 4 LPA in mechanical engineering. 95% students get placed in our college. I'm opting to choose higher studies
