Yes, Students belonging from SC/ST/OBC category need to have 40% marks whereas students belonging from General Category need to have 50% marks.

What is the procedure for admission in the Ph.D. Program at VPCI?

Candidates seeking admission in the Ph.D. program should have a Master's degree or a professional in the same or allied subjects. The Entrance Test is conducted every year followed by an interview. Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET can directly appear for the Interview.

What are the hostel facilities?

The hostel is a 3-storeyed building consisting of 30 rooms, 10 rooms on each floor for boys and girls studying D.M., M.D., DTCD, and Ph.D. courses in the Institute. The rooms are fully furnished and facilities of a common room (for visitors, reading and watching TV. etc.). There is a well equipped Mess with a dining room and kitchen having all modern facilities. The rooms are allotted to the students of VPCI on a first cum first serve basis.

Can students practice in the hospital wing?

Yes, the clinical wing of the Institute is the Viswanathan Chest Hospital, formerly called the Clinical Research Center. It provides facilities for patient care (outpatient, indoor, emergency and intensive care), and teaching and training of postgraduates in Pulmonary Medicine.

Does VPCI conduct any workshop or conference?

Yes, Various International and National Conference, Workshops, CMEs are conducted at VPCI. It increases students' enthusiasm towards academics and practical training.

VPCI offers 5 specializations under the MD course i.e. Pulmonary Medicine, Physiology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, and Microbiology. The admissions are made through the Faculty of Medical Sciences, the University of Delhi as per the university procedures and regulations.

VPCI Delhi MD Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have passed the final M.B.B.S. examination from the University of Delhi and must have completed a satisfactorily one-year compulsory rotating internship and must submit their internship completion certificate before or at the time of appearing for the counselling.

The candidate must have full registration with the Delhi Medical Council/ State Medical Council/ Medical Council of India/ Dental Council of India.

VPCI Delhi MD Selection Criteria

There is 50% Delhi University Quota and 50% All India Quota will be undertaken by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The fees for two years is 20,000 which is really very nominal seeing the amount of facilities offered by the institute . You need to even deposit a one time registration fees and security deposit at the start of the foundation program.

A well structured MD course

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The course is for a duration of two years and the total fee for this duration is Rs. 20,000. The first year and the second year fee is Rs. 10,000 respectively. This is a feasible fee structure according to me.

The fee structure in college is very feasible. This is the main factor which helps many students to learn in this college. This fee is paid for every year. The two-semester are included in this pay. Students are more complimented as the fee structure is maintained affordably.
