What is the admission process for VPCI?

Candidates have to appear for the NEET PG exam or have a bachelor's degree from the same specialization. Admission will be done as per the rules and norms of Delhi University. Candidates seeking admission for post-graduate courses in medical science at VPCI must visit the official website for regular updates

Is there any reservation quota for the SC/ST/OBC Students?

Yes, Students belonging from SC/ST/OBC category need to have 40% marks whereas students belonging from General Category need to have 50% marks.

What is the procedure for admission in the Ph.D. Program at VPCI?

Candidates seeking admission in the Ph.D. program should have a Master's degree or a professional in the same or allied subjects. The Entrance Test is conducted every year followed by an interview. Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET can directly appear for the Interview.

What are the hostel facilities?

The hostel is a 3-storeyed building consisting of 30 rooms, 10 rooms on each floor for boys and girls studying D.M., M.D., DTCD, and Ph.D. courses in the Institute. The rooms are fully furnished and facilities of a common room (for visitors, reading and watching TV. etc.). There is a well equipped Mess with a dining room and kitchen having all modern facilities. The rooms are allotted to the students of VPCI on a first cum first serve basis.

Can students practice in the hospital wing?

Yes, the clinical wing of the Institute is the Viswanathan Chest Hospital, formerly called the Clinical Research Center. It provides facilities for patient care (outpatient, indoor, emergency and intensive care), and teaching and training of postgraduates in Pulmonary Medicine.

Does VPCI conduct any workshop or conference?

Yes, Various International and National Conference, Workshops, CMEs are conducted at VPCI. It increases students' enthusiasm towards academics and practical training.

Many kinds of cultural events like holi , diwali , bihu , janamashtmi are organised by the student club.The labs of the college is completely digitized . More girls were there in my batch. But overall it was equal regarding all the parameters. College is not entertaining any kind of racism, ragging etc. Strick rules are there to follow. Management personally takes care about all the issues and try to solve as soon as possible

the sad part is that our college doesn't organize any cultural programs or fests. Yes but we have extra curricular activities such as workshops on hygiene and sanitation, seminars, a technical program was held in our campus with the 44th workshop on respiratory allergy diagnosis and management. We also have sports arrangements for students to participate and enhane their skills in that field also.
