Curtin University has a range of scholarships that support international students with generous funding. Most awards focus on tuition fee reductions, however, students do not receive coverage for living expenses, airfares, or stipends. However, the high-value John Curtin Global Excellence Scholarship, Global Scholars Program Scholarship, and others provide substantial merit-based assistance. Indian students with strong academic records stand a good chance of receiving these awards, especially if they meet or exceed the required Course-Weighted Average (CWA). Scholarships at Curtin University can cover up to 40% of tuition fees, or one-off tuition fee credits of up to AUD 15,000 (~ INR 8.26 lakhs).

Scholarships at Curtin are automatically assessed, requiring no separate application, making it easier for eligible students to be considered. Still, it is recommended that students apply early, as offers are issued on a rolling basis and assessment occurs alongside admission. Applying well in advance increases the likelihood of securing a scholarship before program seats or scholarship allocations fill up. All the international scholarships at Curtin University are valid for both undergraduate and postgraduate (coursework) programs at Curtin’s Western Australian campus. All scholarships for international students are available for students commencing studies from July 2025 onwards.

Scholarship

No I haven't received any scholarship, although I did earn 25% scholarship for my first year for being a meritorious student. Scholarships in Australia are minimal, and majorly for PhD and research based courses.

I have grown as a person at this University. Not just in terms of academics, which made me realise how tough and complex a teacher's job is, but also as a person.

Yes. I got Collaborative PhD scholarship which is 29000 AUD per year. This is a scholarship that is funded to PhD students at Curtin University.

Overall the experience was good. There are many pros and cons. Although the routine life was boring, the infrastructure was damn good.

Scholarship

I got a merit scholarship as I achieved more than 7 CGPA in my undergrad. It reduced by tuition fee by 25% This application was part of the enrolment and did not need any further process to apply separately.

It has been an amazing journey so far. There is ample scope and opportunities and Perth being a moderately populated city makes it easy to find places and people that are willing to help.

The criteria of getting a scholarship from my university are very simple I'd say the OASIS account have every detail and you will get active notification of active scholarships after subscribing. The scholarships are of various types such as accommodation scholarship, merit-based scholarship, minority-based etc.

My admission process was thoroughly through my own research as Curtin University stands among 1% of top universities and best for mining engineering as Australia is a hub of mining. I got major help from the consultancy (SIEC)

It had a high ranking than the other college that offered my course. The campus was larger and more catered to what I wanted as a student and it was also located closer to cheaper rental accommodation off-campus.

I went to college because of instant entryway into law. Other universities you had to do an undergrad to get in, but for this one, you didn't. It also had great reviews and a great city campus for the law students.
