I chose this university because of various factors: - Offered the course I wanted to study - very high ranking - Excelled Reviews of Student Welfare - Exceptional Teaching My overall experience was amazing. The course, professors and the classes were exceptional. I did not get to experience University life because of Covid but other than that, the student welfare really stepped up during Covid to provide Financial Aid to all the students.

Likes:
- The university campus are wide and vast unlike other campuses which creeped high. Tuition fees are comparable less without any compromise on standards. null
- It's a university with exceptional facilities, I has got many campuses around Australia and we get access to all of them, 24/7. Uni offers Free breakfast and travel across campuses. Another lovable aspect is the chance to engage in a multi cultural events, organised by various uni clubs. Finding electrical faculty friendly is what we often don't get to see back at home😅. Infrastructure and amenities are cool. Uni has a dedicated portal for jobs where helpful resources on building resume and networking can be found. null
Dislikes:
- Majority of classes are conducted online, giving a feeling of having enrolled to an online course. Class environment can become way too casual as food and mobiles are allowed in the class. The student accommodation provided by university is way too expensive than what's usual available in the market. null
Overview
I have been in the university for a year, in this span of a year, university had a significant influence on me. New friend circle introduces new habits ( good ones though) and introduces you to different culture. It had been a fun experience so far, learning other cultures, learning the Aussie way of designing network (circuits) (their standards) .
Fees
17k AUD per semester excluding the health insurance and scholarship for Masters in engineering (3693).
Likes:
- Work placements of the university since it is necessary to get a job after university. null
- "The culture of the university is an inclusive and diverse one where individuals don’t feel Obligated to fit in or change themselves to function within the uni environment. The more you mingle with the students around you, the easier it is to understand the work culture of the country. " .
Dislikes:
- The policies of the university during COVID times, where it became difficult for students to learn dynamically and work in cohesion with their course mates to create better outcomes. Encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship should be a policy. null
Overview
A unique experience for an international student from a developing nation where you interact and engage with people from different cultures and nationalities to identify your own self.
Fees
60-70K AUD
Likes:
- It had good ranking, was convenient in terms of travelling and also had fee shuttle bus services to drop students to university. null
- It has very friendly people and staff. Education level is extremely good. The shuttle bus services are so good like when one bus leaves another comes quickly to pick and drop students. It’s completely free service. null
Dislikes:
- I like everything about it. One thing I would say though would be that call wait times are sometimes too long. Due to this many students don’t end up staying on the call and waiting the time rather end it. null
Overview
It has been great. This is my final year at university and I am going to miss this life a lot.
Fees
$1,500 per unit.
Overview
This college provided an international perspective on the curriculum and offers the courses I am interested in. It also offers a lot of guidance and support for international students. Whilst it is still close to Sydney, parramatta offers a little more calm neighbourhood which makes it easier to focus on education.
Fees
Unfortunately, I did not have any scholarship available, so I paid everything with a student loan I got from the Dutch government. Based on the grades you get and the income of your parents there are however limited opportunities to receive a scholarship but they require a lot of effort and time investment for application.
Overview
I decided to attend this University because it was close to home. It has an excellent nursing program that will help to line me up for future jobs through placement. It is also one of the only Universities or Colleges that decided to accept me.
Fees
I had the option to defer my fees and put them on my student loan. However, I spent $200 on a first aid certificate, $60 for a police check, $150 for a nursing uniform, $100 for basic school supplies that they said we would require.
Overview
Western Sydney University is a very distinct name among other colleges and universities. The brand name is one of the major reasons I applied to this university amongst other factors. Also, a few references from my friend's.
Fees
$56200 for 2 years. The fees keep changing with the changes to the economy. It also depends on the amount of scholarship received by the student.
Overview
This college is the best college that provides nursing in Australia, my uncle told me that this uni provides good service for the student. Many students wanted to sign up for this college because of it. The mentor at this university is amazing.
Fees
The fees for my study: the foundation of the health science sequence is AU $21.000. to me, it's not expensive at all because we invest in our future.
Overview
This university offers a 5-year program instead of 6 years like most of the other medical universities do. I am looking to finishing my degree as soon as possible. I also like Australia that is why I chose this university.
Fees
Tuition fee and Student amenities fee.
Overview
A good place to study, very modern buildings and high tech. The new modern way of teaching without lectures, suiting me good and with many units to choose from and offered to a good price. I choose between this one and a few similar and got into this one.
Fees
The fees depend either on if you undertake a program or units, in that case, if you are international or national, which degree, how long it is and which units. So, for example, you can pay yearly for 4 units which are 100% of studies, and pay for it as you go.
