- Professors and lecturers are approachable. They have knowledge and always ready to help you out when you go upto them after lectures or set aside different meeting times
- Infrastructure is really good. Enough systems in the student hub, laptops for rent, and university is open 24x7
- Everything has a good process and flow to it. There's different buildings for different streams, and all the help and assistance is localized within, so its easy to ask for help when it comes to studies or enrollment or study plans.
Dislikes
- Teaching assistants aren't always very knowledgeable. They are the ones who usually grade the assignments and reports if not the main professor.
- Course content of the program that I was in and the way classes are conducted doesn't really teach a lot. There isn't much emphasis on hands-on learning and the workshops are pretty much do it yourself.
- The number of rooms available to have team meetings or just study rooms isn't enough for a group. There are limited and usually have to book them online.
Campus Life
-
The university has about 3 campuses
- North Terrace is the main one
- Roseworthy is another
- Waite is the third one
- The main campus, north terrace, has all facilities like libraries, sports, medical and student rooms, tutoring groups, computer systems to use or rent, 24x7 security
- Major festivals of all religions like Eid, Christmas, Diwali, Chinese New Year and lots more, are celebrated widely. They happen in the main lawns
- There are various groups and newsletters for sports such as basketball, football, soccer, cricket, and even things for non-physical sports, which could be hiking, literary book clubs, or chess clubs.
- There are student organizations that are elected to run the university's YouX group (a group which provides services to students) and follows a whole election process as well
Fees
- The entire course was 100,000 AUD. I got a scholarship of 30%, which brought it down to 70,000 AUD.
- There is accommodation that is separate; that is around 250-350 a week, depending on where you are staying and the room type. I paid 250-300 a week for 2 years.
- Fees are paid for every credit you take for that semester.
- My monthly expense which includes rent, living, and utilities, is 1600-2000 AUD per month.
- So 250-300 for Rent per week and 60-100 a week for food/groceries; Utilities like mobile bills are 25 per month
- Eating out and shopping could be anywhere between 100-400 AUD per month, depending on how often you go out. So overall, 1600-2000 AUD

- Deciding to see if a single person is worth staying away from a career that can be rewarding
Overview
I chose the college because of its location and already studied at the University of South Australia. It's going okay so far. I have been studying part-time but will soon study full-time.
Campus Life
I am in many clubs: the Anime Club, the Japanese Culture and Language Club, the Japanese Culture and Language Club, the the Japanese Culture and Language Club, the Drawing Club, and the Karaoke Club.

- Was interested in the Machine Learning Field and wanted to go into the data space and syllabus for Data Science was in depth with every algorithm from scratch without using scopy or other third party libraries.
Overview
The experience was good. I got to learn a lot about Machine Learning. I met with some amazing people, had group tasks and improved a lot on some social skills. The assignments are challenging and it may take lot of time but will surely enhance your confidence on a particular topic. In case of any doubts, there are people sitting to clear your doubts in university. In addition to that there are workshops where you will have to test your code and professor will review and check your understanding. I mostly learned how you can take ownership of your own content and how to connect with people and ask for their help.
Campus Life
University has lot of clubs and each clubs have their own events and activities. A person can join any club and take its facilities. Joining a club also comes with perks like discounts on merchandise or restaurants in Adelaide or a specific brand.
Overview
Affordability, future prospects, expected quality of study program.
Campus Life
There are plenty of clubs, events and activities that occur throughout the year at the University.
Overview
There are plenty of rationales why I decided to choose the University of Adelaide. The University of Adelaide is ranked 106 in the 2021 QS World University Rankings. Being a member of Australia's Group of Eight, The University of Adelaide is the only University in South Australia ranked inside the top 250. With over 140 years of educational experience and recognized as a leading research university globally, The University of Adelaide provides one of the most delicate course structures for Masters of Computer Science. This well-adjusted degree structure is one of the main reasons I have chosen to study at The University of Adelaide even though I have offer letters from The University of Sydney and The University of Queensland. One of the other reasons I decided to study in Adelaide is the cost of living. The living expenditures in Adelaide is less compared to that of Sydney and Brisbane. One last reason to sum up my decisiveness to study at the University of Adelaide is that the University has awarded me with the 30% Global Citizens Scholarship, which not only provides a 30% reduction of the tuition fee for the standard full-time duration but also stands as a testimony of my hard work. I would definitely want it to stand as part of my identity in the future.
Campus Life
There is a range of support services available to assist students throughout the journey. There are more than 130 clubs available which do not require campus life. There is a crowd for dancer, gamer, singer, writer etc. The research community has over 1200 staff and students with innovative culture and modern infrastructure.
Overview
The University of Adelaide is great. I can't explain it in words. When I was in India I was not meant to be so free and personally experience each and everything apart from studies as well and to lead a life individually. So the campus life is really good. The university provides a lot of opportunities for growth and there are many clubs for different activities, career building activities to build our resume, cover letter and how to get the networking and professional life built. They do conduct a lot of workshops too related to how to motivate yourself. So a lot of fun activities are going on and Orientation week is the perfect opportunity because every student has to go and visit the campus where all the fun activities are going on and stalls are set up to promote the events.
Campus Life
There are a lot of clubs. They are more than 20. We have to personally get enrolled. There are different clubs for Yoga, Dance, Meditation activities. There are also community clubs like Christian clubs. Their motive is not to promote any religion but just to network with people over dinner. There are a lot of volunteering activities alo. We get to make a lot of new friends from multicultural backgrounds and it's really fun to get introduced to new people. Apart from the Indians we do have a lot of Chinese people too.
Overview
I received a scholarship for it and it was also an opportunity to experience a new environment for which I was keen to do.
Overview
I chose the University of Adelaide as it is ranked in the top 1% of universities worldwide. They're also a member of Australia's Group of Eight, made up of the country's best universities, and feature a beautiful campus with traditional sandstone buildings mixed with cutting-edge learning and research facilities.
Overview
I had a lot of counseling done and did a lot of research regarding the course I wanted to do and then I landed at the university of Adelaide.
Overview
The University of Adelaide is one of the best universities and I really liked the course structure of the University. I have an opportunity of completing my research for a year. This would help me further to complete my Ph.D. Also, Adelaide is a very peaceful and beautiful city which was one of the other reasons to choose this University.
Fees
The fees are to be paid every semester. There are a lot of scholarships available for international students. I received a 15% scholarship. I also have taken a loan from a bank in India to support my finances. Other than that my parents are sponsoring my studies along with my grandparents. I am really grateful for the same.
