Dislikes:

  • Location of the university is almost half hour away from the city that is probably the most disliked point. Lack of human element in various processes, like there are many instances when you are supposed to do a certain aspect of activity and due to its digital nature you might not understand it completely well at the same time if there were a human element involved it would prove a lot more beneficial. null

It depends on type of accommodation chosen. Shared student housing is probably the hassle free cheapest option out there. But if you have a couple of friends renting a bigger house would prove to be cheaper.

It is an overall good experience with challenging academics at par with current trends and other industry standards. There are lots of extracurricular and fitness oriented opportunities available as well.

There were both on campus and off campus accommodation options, with the latter being more affordable (may be at the cost of infrastructure but that is subjective to the tenant). Most rooms were share houses, i.e, private rooms with shared facilities such as kitchens and washrooms. On average, the off campus accommodation can go anywhere between 500-1000 monthly (without bills).

Overall, it would say it was good and refreshing, especially as an international graduate. Though, facilities could've been handled well during COVID, the on-campus classes and labs would have to be the major takeaway when it came to academics. Events would always be there Year round, so there's no shortage of freebies to look for.

The rent in Melbourne varies from suburb to suburb. People need to pay higher rent for living the city central but lower rent for living in smaller suburbs. Although living in the city is more happening than in suburbs.

The experience at Monash University is wholesome. The students get to experience everything that a course should offer. This international exposure in the life of students is much needed. The university not only helps student academically but also to settle in the new city far from home.

I lived in an apartment with my friends and we shared the monthly rent. That’s the best way to stay abroad.

I enjoyed thoroughly. Doing Masters is once in a lifetime opportunity. It’s a great experience. Meeting new people. Learning new skills, participating in a lot of events organized by the Uni. It was great.

It costs around 800-1000 AUD per month for rent and other basic expense.

My Monash university experience was wonderful and even though I wish I could have studied all 3 years if the Covid didn’t impact me as most of the time I spent was studying online.

Recommended Accommodation - Off Campus Rent houses around University. Average Rent & Bills per month - A$ 900 Total Average Cost of Living per month - A$ 1200

My overall experience was fruitful and worth the buck as I bagged a role within 2 weeks of graduation. This was because I worked towards employment right from day one of University. It is not easy to get jobs as an international student. But with the right mindset, hard work, and making the best use all the resources at my university, I have now carved my own path and career in Australia.

Regarding my accomodation now I am in what you say off campus accomodation because as I already mentioned I came Malaysia before 1 day of lockdown so I didnt get accomodation because lot of people applied for it but whereas the expenditure is concerned on campus is too much what we say that the expensive compared to the off campus we can say that the 50% but the facilities on the on campus is very good just like we have Wi-Fi facility, gym facility even library facility and many others but off campus we don't have many facilities. here in the what we say we can say that if we have one thousand RAM which is equal to 400 USD we can survive per month But what we say that the year fees is very high because it is 50,000 but it depends upon my qualities if I have a lot of publications good research experience so they give us a partially fully and sometimes they are giving us the what we say scholarship They give us 500 for publishing our work its like they are giving the appreciation token.

Actually here I like Monash because environment is too friendly even now we have access to our heads like dean and whereas concerned the facilities Monash give a lot of facilities even now we have you can see the COVID 19 situation they are providing the online resources like Monash library even we have remote access to our labs like because I want to work on my abacus software so they give us remote access even it is a hard time COVID 19 did not affect our research because they are giving us a lot of facilities. If I am in hurry so I have to do all the work experimental work even so they give a priority to me and I have to conduct all the experiments.

The accommodation is available through University or privately as well. A budget of around $900-1000 a month should cover all expenses including rent groceries and bills.

Monash University provides a holistic development where there is an equal mix of academics and extra-curricular. It teaches the student to be self-sufficient which in turn helps in the real world. They have a broad range of courses and share a prestigious reputation of being one of the top 100 universities in the world.

I stayed in a villa-type house which was rented by five of us. Each took separate rooms and shared the kitchen. Individually we paid 700 AUD per month as rent and we used to share all the utility bills including wifi, water, gas, and electricity. The average rental would cost anywhere from 300 AUD to 1200 AUD per month. The bills would cost about 100 AUD per month.

Australia was my only choice when I wanted to study abroad. I searched for the best universities in Australia and found Monash was one of the groups eight universities in Australia. The course pattern best suited my interest and I applied there.

On-campus accommodation that offers residence halls for a contract period of 42–48 weeks. Off-campus accommodations can be found through agencies and accommodation websites providing Private Room, Studio Flat, etc. to students. The cost of on-campus residence varies between AUD 315 (INR 17,409.76)- AUD 385 (INR 21.278.60) per week. The cost of off-campus accommodation varies between AUD 275 (INR 15,199)- AUD 985 (INR 54,440.04)per week. However, for on-campus accommodation, you need to fill online application but you can avoid this hassle in off-campus accommodation. Both are good options, it depends on your convenience.
