7 October 2025: Monash University has updated its 2026 fees. The Master of Business Analytics program costs A$59,900 (₹35.13 lakhs), up from A$56,800 in 2025. The Business Analytics program has a single Semester 1 intake, with Round 1 applications closing July 30, 2025, and Round 2 closing September 30, 2025. Check program details.
Monash University offers admission to international students in 2 major intakes: Semester 1 (March) and Semester 2 (July). The estimated acceptance rate of the University is 40%. Some of the popular courses opted by international students are MBA, MS Data Science, Bachelor's of Nursing, and others.

- Entry level 1: It is an admission route to graduate programs if the student does not have an undergraduate degree in the related field. E.g, If a student wants to pursue an MS in Data Science, but has an undergraduate degree in any field like commerce or arts, then he/she needs to apply through the Entry Level 1 route.
- Entry-level 1 takes 2 years for completion of the graduate degree.
- Entry level 2: It is an admission route to graduate programs if the student has an undergraduate degree in the related field. Monash University Application Deadlines
Monash University generally takes admission on a rolling basis. But few programs have admission deadlines. They are:
- Master's in Business Analytics: Semester 1 (March) 2027 intake has 2 rounds, and admission deadlines for Round 1 are 30 July 2026, and Round 2 is 30 September 2026. These are tentative deadlines based on previous years' data.

- I chose this University based on programme structure, university ranking, opportunities available and level and type of academics offered.
- Organisation of academic and non academic activities alongside many opportunities for international students. Free food and drinks on many occasions throughout the week. Campus atmosphere and services offered. Dedicated sports and fitness services alongside of the technical activities as well if one is interested. There are opportunities available to socialize with like minded folks and gain insights to pursue different career paths and/or jobs amongst other things.
Dislikes
- Location of the university is almost half hour away from the city that is probably the most disliked point. Lack of human element in various processes, like there are many instances when you are supposed to do a certain aspect of activity and due to its digital nature you might not understand it completely well at the same time if there were a human element involved it would prove a lot more beneficial.
Overview
It is an overall good experience with challenging academics at par with current trends and other industry standards. There are lots of extracurricular and fitness oriented opportunities available as well.

Overall, it would say it was good and refreshing, especially as an international graduate. Though, facilities could've been handled well during COVID, the on-campus classes and labs would have to be the major takeaway when it came to academics. Events would always be there Year round, so there's no shortage of freebies to look for.

My overall experience was fruitful and worth the buck as I bagged a role within 2 weeks of graduation. This was because I worked towards employment right from day one of University. It is not easy to get jobs as an international student. But with the right mindset, hard work, and making the best use all the resources at my university, I have now carved my own path and career in Australia.

You must have graduated from senior secondary school or equivalent. Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
