• Full-time opportunities are all over Melbourne. If you have the correct visa, you can get one easily. As soon as a student gets a visa, it is better to apply for a TR to get job opportunities.
• With the right visas and references, you can land a job easily. Maintaining good network connections is very important to get references after your course.

Not all are as good as they seem to be. Do not pay before inspecting the property directly. Try to get a house in your language or nationality for easy living.

• As far as I have witnessed, there are many jobs available for students and a little less than normal for international students. Still, it is possible to get a full-time job after 6–12 months of job completion. People have got jobs even before graduating, so it is basically about your resume and your interviews. Nobody is at a disadvantage just because of the visa.

• I live with my friend and we are renting a two-bedroom apartment. Accommodation is available on real estate and domain and there are student accommodations for people who don’t know anyone here. A lot of my friends are living in student accommodations and they are happy with it. It can be a little expensive here but you can earn your expenses while studying.
• Challenges can be with no rental history so renting an apartment for a newcomer is not the easiest job. I advise living in student accommodations and getting pay slips steadily for at least 6 months before renting by yourself.

Out of the 20 people who graduated in the last intake, all of them ended up getting a job within 6 months after they completed their course. The average salary range can be $70000 per year in the IT field Students usually network around, but apply for jobs through linkedin. The biggest help in getting a job are internships as they demonstrate Canadian experience which is very essential for some employers as a lot of Indians have a history of faking their previous work experience. Other than linkedin, there's indeed, monster, dice and wellfound for finding jobs, but the best way would be to network with people especially in events like hackathons A batchmate of mine got a job in Nasdaq but his previous experience as an intern helped out in getting an interview. But most of my batchmates converted their intern jobs to full-time jobs. "I found accommodation through facebook marketplace. My rent was $700 which included laundry and utilities (electricity and water). I did not really face any challenges while finding accommodation, but when securing it, I had to make a decision within 2 days after viewing because of it's high demand. For future students, I would recommend to get a private room if possible because then you can focus a lot on your studies. There's Facebook marketplace, Kijiji and real estate agencies which rent out and if you find real estate agency which specialises in student housing (WCRI in my city, Waterloo), then you can find pretty cheap rooms near university campuses. My accommodation is around 4 KM away from the campus. Most of the Indian students live in the city of Kitchener, but some groups did live near the university but they had to share their rooms with at least 3-4 other people to afford those places."

Plenty opportunities available. Many industry oriented events throughout the coursework times. Median salary is well over average base pay in Australia generally offered for STEM Courses.

It is an overall good experience with challenging academics at par with current trends and other industry standards. There are lots of extracurricular and fitness oriented opportunities available as well.

There were opportunities but several of the companies either advertised for bachelors or citizens or permanent residents.

Overall, it would say it was good and refreshing, especially as an international graduate. Though, facilities could've been handled well during COVID, the on-campus classes and labs would have to be the major takeaway when it came to academics. Events would always be there Year round, so there's no shortage of freebies to look for.

It is more on the skills of the students to look for well paying jobs. University does help students to prepare CV and cover letter for applying in different companies. After fetching an interview, university even helps to prepare for the interview.

The experience at Monash University is wholesome. The students get to experience everything that a course should offer. This international exposure in the life of students is much needed. The university not only helps student academically but also to settle in the new city far from home.

Great There are a lot of opportunities that the university offers and promotes. It is how a student utilizes it. Many students have benefitted by the opportunities offered by the Uni.

I enjoyed thoroughly. Doing Masters is once in a lifetime opportunity. It’s a great experience. Meeting new people. Learning new skills, participating in a lot of events organized by the Uni. It was great.

Placement are good but I did not get any so I did it on campus you have to be 3.5 GPA to get a placement during your final year.

My Monash university experience was wonderful and even though I wish I could have studied all 3 years if the Covid didn’t impact me as most of the time I spent was studying online.

My overall experience was fruitful and worth the buck as I bagged a role within 2 weeks of graduation. This was because I worked towards employment right from day one of University. It is not easy to get jobs as an international student. But with the right mindset, hard work, and making the best use all the resources at my university, I have now carved my own path and career in Australia.
