Required Exams for Admission
My overall experience was fruitful and worth the buck as I bagged a role within 2 weeks of graduation. This was because I worked towards employment right from day one of University. It is not easy to get jobs as an international student. But with the right mindset, hard work, and making the best use all the resources at my university, I have now carved my own path and career in Australia.
Course Curriculum
The course is a reflection of the real world application that simulates a work environment with 95% practical and hands on learning. I did an internship as a Data Analyst through my curriculum. Overall, the coursework is one of the best in the world with highly qualified faculty and to notch infrastructure.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio - 17.1 They're mostly highly educated PhD holders with a friendly and approachable attitude. Australia is very informal and people call everyone by their first name no matter the hierarchy which makes the atmosphere very approachable. Dr. Patricia Menendez at Monash Business School was one professor that left a lasting impression for me.
Campus Life
Monash is the largest University by size and student number in Australia. So there are abundant opportunities for both academic and social clubs. Sporting infrastructure, Library, Study Areas, Classrooms, and everything else that one can think of is world class.
Placement
Opportunities to attend Job Fairs with top companies/organisations in Australia. World Class Alumni Network. No mandatory placements. Excellent Career Counselling and employability services provided for free. Average Fresher Salary - A$ 65,000 per annum. Most of my peers and myself have been placed in very good jobs after studying at Monash. (*Individual skills and aspirations matter more than just University brand*)
