- Monash University is one of the Q8 in Australia. Master of Data Science was well structured. I loved how the units covered all the things I wanted to study. I liked how practical and theoretical units were balanced.
Required Exams for Admission
I enjoyed thoroughly. Doing Masters is once in a lifetime opportunity. It’s a great experience. Meeting new people. Learning new skills, participating in a lot of events organized by the Uni. It was great.
Course Curriculum
My course was very well structured. It was up to date as per the industrial expectations. I work now based on what I studied.
Faculty
The faculties and the mentors are great. Very patient and helps to understand things very well.
Campus Life
Monash campus is amazingly good. It literally has everything and the best campus to study around.
Placement
Great There are a lot of opportunities that the university offers and promotes. It is how a student utilizes it. Many students have benefitted by the opportunities offered by the Uni.
Accommodation
I lived in an apartment with my friends and we shared the monthly rent. That’s the best way to stay abroad.
Exams
The requirement for Australian Universities IELTS band is 6. I did not have to take any other exam. SOP and CV (if had work experience) - main points like achievements in academics and Co-curricular activities if any. Reason for doing masters and how it would help in future. I did have one round of interview with the mentor before I was could apply, it was more generic and casual as to how interested I was about the course and why I was particular on pursuing it.
Fees
80,000 AUD.
Scholarship
I did get scholarship about 2,000 AUD. Not able to recall the name.
