JUT Ranchi Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From semester 3rd students can take placements. Last year more than 900 offers have been made and most students got placed. Highest package was 13lpa in civil engineering branch and lowest was 4lpa. More than 50% students got placed. I'm planning to join either PSUs or higher studies.

The placement opportunities is decent for students. The placement of BIT sindri varies from branch to branch but the core brances like Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering has evergreen placements. Among the eligible students around 90 percent students get placed. But in branches like civil and production engineering, its not the same. They have very low placement rate around 20 to 30% of eligible students get placement. For CSE, IT & ECE the placement is highly dependent on the situation of market and it varies early. The students are eligible from 6 the semester onwards for placement . The placement drive starts from August or September and companies visit till students graduate. The top recruiters are TCS with more than 80 students from overall campus , TATA power nearly 20 , LNT, JSW , Vedanta , TATA STEEL, JSL, ADANI, ABG , Shyam steel and For it sector companies like samsung , cognisant, hitachi, TCs, Spyder visited for 2k21 batch. For the batch 2020-2024 among batch size of 710 around 620 offers were made. The highest package is given by samsung which is around 28 LPA , students of CSE, IT, ECE and Electrical are eligible. For IT sector average package is around 6 lakhs. For core sectors companies heightest package is offered by vedanta to Electrical, Mechanical, Mining which is around 14 lakhs average package is around 7 LPA.. Around 75- 80 percent students get placed during campus placement drive. The Wish to crack GATE and join PSU after my graduation.

Curriculum are best designed for students which helps to understand every subjects Course Curriculum are designed to understand the subjects by practical learning through labs and workshops and also teaching method of Faculties are also good Exam held in every respective months

First of all the placements are impressive. In technical branches the average salary is 6LPA and the highest package is about 65LPA (off campus ).One thing I want to say the core branches also have awesome placements here .

College provides different clubs and societies to also engaged in different things parts from academic which help us to engaged always in different things and improve our skills. These things I like most in college.

Our curriculum are designed by JUT (JHARKHAND UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY ) which are designed efficiently Our curriculum is best and designed with related of real world problems Teching method have anees to improve as it requires more practical learning and to understandable for students

Curriculum are very good and designed well ..which helps to understand the subjects with the help of lab work and practical ... That leads to understand the real life problem facing in core are sector ..Exam are approximately held in 3months gap they are moderate level

Bit sindri is a reputated college . I gain very much in my btech course and in all departement in my college aur best . Need some changes in technolgy like advance learning has to be introduce in the class room.

Core branches in this college are doing good and their respective faculties has nice teaching methods which realises the real life problem and its solution , through practical basis by labwork , industrial tour and many more, which influenced me to go in core branch. Exams generally happening in 3 months , not difficult but conceptual.

Specific aspects of the curriculum in time table There are need to improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods as per course demand The frequency and timing of exams every six months the exam is too difficult and exam level is very hard
