Core branches in this college are doing good and their respective faculties has nice teaching methods which realises the real life problem and its solution , through practical basis by labwork , industrial tour and many more, which influenced me to go in core branch. Exams generally happening in 3 months , not difficult but conceptual.

Government engineering college palamu is a state govt. College of Jharkhand , it takes admission basis on JEE mains score, firstly we have to fill the application form for Jceceb councelling (ONLY FOR RESIDENT OF JHARKHAND) in which it gives a general merit rank and category rank (if belongs to) for councelling process for choice filling of colleges and its respective branches . GEC PALAMU is established in year 2022 as 2nd state govt. Engineering college in jharkhand, currently it has approx 900 students are studying in their respective branches. This colleges has good and dedicated and very supportive faculties, colleges has well equiped labs , airconditioned libraries & well furnished auditorium. Annual fees for this college is approx ~ ?15300 annually in which (?7600 for tution fees + ?7732 for annual fees (develop.fees + lab fees + examination fees +...etc.) fees depends upon category of students 1) For Gen/EWS/0BC :- Boys - ?7600 (T.F) + ?7732 (A.F) 3) For Gen/EWS/0BC :- Girls - ?32/- (T.F) + ?7732 (A.F) 4) For SC/ST (Both boys ) - ?1957(T.F) + ?7732 (A.F) 5) For SC/ST (Girls) - ?32/- (T.F) + ?7732 (A.F) 6) For TFW students(Boys/girls) :- ?32/-(T.F) + 7732 (A.F) Scholarship named as e-kalyan given by state governmnet are available for OBC/ST/SC students , otherwise students also can apply to many private scholarships based on merit cum mean ( as recommended to GENERAL Category students) for their survival.

Infrasture of this college is of top notched , there are many clubs and socities are present to join by students named are as follows:- 1) Science & Innovation clubs :- ( for technically sound students in which they peresent their ideas to their groups members and form models and participates in many competitions in many colleges ) 2) Sandhan Club :- It is basically works in dominating area of making drones, planes and robots and AI involvement in this. 3) Eco club :- works to conserve nature and environent by planting trees , discuss many many new ideas to recreate the natures beauty 4) Art & Culture club :- they are dedicated to showing their arts by singing, dancing, performing nukkad nataks .. and many more 5) NSS :- joined by stuents as volunteers and members to show their descipline and dedication towards socities and nation by performing drills, march past and doing works for society upliftments like by establishing blood donation camps, teaching to villagers students. Like clubs as there are many socities also like:- 1) literary societies :- to showcase their literarture writing and thinking skills by performing stories, music, poems 2) Electrical engg. Hostels are alloted after admission in college in their respective dates of both boys and girls it is alloted by paying the hostel maintanance and electricity worth of total ?9500/- as there are 2 boys hostel and 1 girls hostel Which is well furnished and spacious , there are 3 bed in rooms having seperately cuboard to store their things very easily, having seperated charging port for mobile charging , fans are in good condition As wellas :- Bathroom are also furnished in good condition but having need for maintanance As students to hostel ratio is very low students has to rent a room , which cost approx. 4-5k per month and present in villages near college , as this campus is located very far away from City

I choose this college because it is 2nd state govt. College which is fully funded by state govt. .. Which reults the low fees struture of this college (which is more relief factor for students), always having support from govt. For any innovation ideas and startup idea and to fund rise for their projects. I applied firstly for state govt. College (having first priority) and got it . but many other colleges are present in jharkhand which run by PPP mode (Public private partnership) examples - Ramgarh enginnering college, chaibasa enginnering college, Dumka enginnering collegs, etc. Admission will be done in all college through jee mains score, by coucelling basis through jceceb board. Criteria for councelleing are as follows :- 1) students must be resident of Jharkhand 2) in class 12th students must be in minimum 60% 3) rank of state(both general merit + category) which is given after filling application form 4) cutoffs based on rank of students in which they are applied to colleges and their respective branches 5) admission will be going in respective rounds also cutoffs depends on it. 6) after gotting college in councelling, first have to pay security money to confim seat And take admission to their desired college in desired date by paying annual fees and tution fees of amount approx ~ 15000/- + all required documents which are instructed in allotment letter during councelling

Faculties in GEC Palamu is best dedicated knowledgble and very friendly.. They are always available or approachable to students 24×7 there are dedicated 2 faculties to the respective subjects. In 6 months of semester duration there are 2 mid-sem exams taken by college individually and one final end sem exam taken by university which is registerd by college. Marking system in SGPA, both midsem exam of total 20 marks (10+ 10) & left 10 marks depends on attendance of students (75%) is mandatory, i.e- total of 30 marks given by college to university as an internal and 70 marks exam is taken by University.. i.e- total of 100 marks .. and SGPA is given to students according to their academic performance, there is very less students fail ratio (<3%) due to the structured course curriculum which leads to be students stress free for academics

There is no any Group discussion or personal interview, College takes admission through merit rank given by Jceceb board, through this rank , college and their respective branches will be alloted in councelling ..

Well maintained and enough books are present in Library for college students , campus is open for 24×7 for incoming but in night some time restriction to go outside from campus i.e- after 7:00 pm no one can go outside from campus but inside campus students are allowed to move till 9:00 pm in campus but campus is safe for both girls and boys There us lack of markets and stores near campus, students have to go for min. 4-5 km just to fill their necessary needs also hangout places are placed in approx 8 km ( rivers, dams etc..)
