Likes

the return to investment in this college is very fair.
the infrastructure in this college is very good and still developing rapidly .
the fee is very affordable and the surrounding market is also cheap.

Dislikes

the reservation is very high and sc & st community gets so much advantage .
the college is located at outskirts of main city Dhanbad .
there is some sort of ragging culture which is also present here. Talking about the girls to boys ratio it is 25 to 75.

Placement Experience:

The placement stats of BIT Sindri is quite impressive because the core branch placement is too good . it offers around 90% placement to branch like mechanial , electrical , mining , metal. technical branch placement is also improving yearly.

BIT SINDRI : THE HIDDEN GEM

Likes

The return of investment of this college is best in India .
It has a strong alumni network, who help during placements.
It has a huge campus of around 450 acres, so you never feel bore here.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is quite old here for few buildings.
Some lab machines are not in proper condition.
Distance between hostel and lecture hall is around 1.5 km

Placement Experience:

The placements are very good for the core branches like mechanical, electrical, chemical, production & civil but not so good for tech branches. The highest package offered for this year is 38lpa off campus the average package is mostly 6-7lpa . From my branch till now 80% of students are placed for 2021 batch. My plan is mainly to clear gate and get into some of the psu's.

The things i liked in Bit Sindri is the affordability and return of investment. The lush green campus 450 acre of land gives a vibrant college life moments.
The number of fooding outlets in the campus is also a good number including a Nescafe ,cafeteria and Maggi spot.
There are twenty two registered club and each branch has its own society and hance creating a vibrant and joyful environment in the campus .Each have its own EVENT.

Dislikes

There are few restriction for first year students which is only valid for few months and there is less accountability on light in hostel.
There is restriction on dress code for each year except final year. the campus is open so there is cattle moment in campus.
Sindri is pretty much in the outskirts of the main town which is Dhanbad for about 22 km away but still our own station called Sindri station and we have local train for Dhanbad in regular interval

Placement Experience:

The placement is desent for core engineering and is more focused on core placement , it sector have not much placement but electrical and mechanical placement are good .they also get a chance for pre placement and internship provided there academic performance are good .teacher and professors do provide guidance and technique for gate and engineering exam.

so the college is very affordable , and the ROI of the college is great and there are different buildings for different departments and also hostels are allotted in the branch wise ...means each branch has specific hostels
Placements in the collage is very much related to the branch you are in and also market requirements. Our college have training and placement cell called TAP cell.
Senior junior relations are very much like an engineering college is depicted in movies, the banter the brotherhood is very energetic. Coming to the clubs we have 22 registered clubs in bit with each branch having its own society.

Dislikes

Campus rules, 1st year students have some restrictions, the restrictions are also for a smaller time and it also adds fun to college life.
College locality lacks food outlets and quality is bit low . The main station is Dhanbad which is 22km away but we have our own station called Sindri station where the local trains starts for DHANBAD at regular intervals
the gym is only allowed for 3rd and final year students with limited equipments.

Placement Experience:

Placement is decent for core engineering and is more focused on core placement.Cs have not much placement but electrical and mechanical placements are good .They too get preplacement and internships provided there academic performance are good. Teachers and profesor do provide guidance and techniques for GATE and other engineering exams. STUDENTS are eligible after 6th sem and infact many get PPO from the companies they have done internship.

There is lots of oppertunity provided by our college .. There are many programs organise by the different clubs in our college like eco club arts clubs rotary clubs. In our placements civil students need to provide more oppertunity

One of favorite part of my college is extra curriculum activity which help in personal development
Interaction with seniors and teachers is good
OnCampus placement is good there are more than 50 company comes in my college

Dislikes

One of the weakest part of company is its infrastructure that very old but my work on it
Ratio of girls is very as compare to boys
For semester study you depends on own study only few professors tech properly

Placement Experience:

Overall placement is good in my college there more than 50 company comes for on campous placement line Tata Ltd, Jindal, Tata steel, Tcs, vedanta, aakash and sevaral. Average palcement. Of my college is 7.5 lakh And highest is 16.5 lakh .

Senior and junior interaction are so good in bit sindri.seniors help junior in many aspects, academic and non academic.
Professor are well qualified. Professor are very helpful.
On bit sindri hostel Life is so amazing.In hostels min two or three branch students are live together.so interaction between inter branch is good.

Dislikes

Our college is out side the main city.so of you need to buy anything you need to travel 2 km .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Not get real application or further academic pursuits. Area of improvement In class only theory teaching methods is running not a practical real world education is teaching. Good thing is that is not so frequently exam are conducted. Two two exam minimum a month is given for a student to prepare.

BIT Sindri Best Collage for Engineering Students

Likes

Best for poor students and middle class students
Top faculties available in collage who pass out from top IIT
Best infrastructure with parking, gardens, hostels etc

Dislikes

Students who passed JEE mains gets admission other wise no option
Lab are very old technology its time to improve it
Only builent students get placement from collage

BIT sindri State government Collage students who belong from Jharkhand only this students get admission, students from another collage can't get admission in BIT sindri. Students have to crake entrance exam organised by CBSE named JEE mains

Likes

Greenery in campus. it is quite good and amazing.
Faculties they are from IITs,NITs and many other renowed institutes.
Canteen, it's a saviour for hostellers and here is Nescafe alo

Dislikes

Too many restrictions for first year students.
Dress code for first year. Suit patiala for girls it's irritating.
Less events and fest. We couldn't enjoy much.

From semester 3rd students can take placements. Last year more than 900 offers have been made and most students got placed. Highest package was 13lpa in civil engineering branch and lowest was 4lpa. More than 50% students got placed. I'm planning to join either PSUs or higher studies.
