The fee structure for an academic year on average is 2,75,000/- which includes the expense of hostel fee, tuition fee, moot court fee, printed material, sports facility, co-curricular, fest celebration, gym and all other resources of a university, however, it does not include mess fee. Every year the fee increases by approximately 10%. Not to mention that a security fee about of rs. 25,000 is returned in the end of the session. This fee, however, also includes the yearly subscription to 13 to 15 legal databases which are quite expensive in itself and requisite to have command over legal research and profession in general. Now coming to the part of scholarship and financial aid provided to students, yes certainly students can apply for the same under schemes runned by the government and if the student fulfils the required criteria as per the merit or income slabs, then they can avail it.

The total at my time of joining was 258000 including refundable amount. students do get scholarships in this college but those who are from MP gets more advantage although college also provide scholarship from their end but they do have some criteria for that to avail
The fee is a bit exorbitant for a budding annually like dnlu but the fees justified because of the non availability of a permanent campus. But the M.P. government and the financial aid of the college support a lot of students with their fee liablities.
Now this is the point where our college lags, even though our college is one of the new National Law University, it charges a high fees from students. As per the new brochure of the university 241000 is the new annual fees of the college, which includes hostel charges but mess charges are not included in this( normally the mess charges are around 15000-16000 per semester). The brochure also mentions about 10% fees hick every year other than the tution fees. But there are many scholarship available to the students like the Mukhyamantri medhavi chatr Yojna, Akansha Yojna, Post matric Scholarship for OBC, SC and ST students. Apart from this the college also provide financial aid to some students who don't fall under criteria of any scholarship and face hardship in submitting the fees. You can also avaial CAN Foundation scholarship. You should consider this point while taking admissions, since this is a new NLU, even after that charging a high fees.
At the moment the college does not have any scholarship schemes but the college 50% seats are reserved for MP and 5% relaxation in 10+2 marks is given to SC/ST. category.
The state government provides scholarships for those who have scored 75% (for MPboard) and 85%(cbse ) or more in their class 12 exams Other than that the state also offers scholarships to those belong to the scheduled classes or scheduled tribes Other than that student can also apply for education loans very easily
