MPDNLU is majestic!!

Compared with last year job opportunities have been enhanced now at MPDNLU Jabalpur.
Career goals are assessed here as there are societies and clubs that helps in pursuing further studies knowledge and admission.
Intenrship cell has got better as many intenrship opportunities are provided now as tie-ups with top Litigation firms

Dislikes

Campus is probably the tiniest when compared with different NLUs.

I just wanted NLUs at all costs and I got one. The first choise will always be the Tier-1 NLUs like the NUJs, the NALSAR and the NLSIU. GNLU also I missed and then I was like let's go for the one which is in my state. I had confirmation from NLIU Bhopal and also MPDNLU but I chose later.

MPDNLU is a darling college!!

Since we started our journey just 7 years back our campus is certainly one of the NLUs which has most modern infrastructure.
The students too along with infrastructure is quite modern as we have a lot of modern activities like students asking opposite genders for prom nights and all.
Our library is open all the time and there are no half heated material but almost every law book is available there.

Dislikes

Placements are quite poor here as only three batches so far has been passed out.

After you give CLAT, you automatically apply to mang colleges as all NLUs come under that. It wasn't easy though as getting a two tier NLU, I though of switching to a private university as NMIMS Hyderabad was the one where I was getting admission but couldn't took as it was too far. So hailing from MP I took admission here.

MPDNLU is majestic!!

Likes

Indeed one of the most developed NLU as it is also one of the latest NLU.
Even though it's in a tier-3 city, our college ranks among tier-1 NLU.
We have best and probably the largest collection of law books and journals as over 1.2 lakh such material is available in our library.

Dislikes

Campus is also one of the smallest when it comes to NLU other campuses.

Rejection definitely from top NLUs be it the Bangalore, Hyderabad or the Kolkata one. Even GNLU was my preferred but even they don't take students below the rank of 400 for general category. So with a rank of 2200 I had very few options and out of which DNLU seemed best by all means.

Life at dnlu

Likes

I appreciate greenery around the campus and life around army cantt is safe and refreshing
The social interactions defers according to the batch and for interactions seniors organises many events for ice breaking
The overall academies is good. The strict curriculum is followed to maintain discipline

Dislikes

The campus id temporary and the hostels are mess overall not good
You have to give mess fees regardless you’re eating or not
There’s no option for night cravings no night mess no night canteen no late night Swiggy nothing

Admission:

Being a student from Madhya Pradesh itself. Jabalpur national University is good because the city itself has the main High Court branch of Madhya Pradesh and it is growing at its best and one of the most growing national law University

DNLU: Journey from Layman to Lawyer.

Well the student crowd is very enthusiastic coming from diverse background and spirit of excelling participating in various moots, internships and all other multidimensional skill development. its always the good company of the colleges you pay for.
The faculty again is exceptional in their fields experienced from reputed institutes with dedication mixed with fun. Them being easily approachable and interactive makes students get in love with the subjects along with their wise guidance.
The vibrant culture of the campus with all national festival celebrated with hearts, cultural fest, sports week, workshops, webinar, exhibitions, and all other full fledged participation is best way to dust off the academic hustle and wind off youth.

Dislikes

I personally disliked the food which might be because of the reason i am native of Jammu and Kashmir, and food served their is primarily the taste of central and south Indian style. Well, there was alot of variety as such which made my survival easy.

Admission:

Well, National Law Universities have their own charm in terms of Law professionals. One, it adds to your CV a good impression for placements and internships, second, the quality education they provide as per the updated requirements of the field, third, it gives you confidence and a better crowd to be surrounded with. However, I always wanted to get into an NLU and appeared for CLAT henceforth. One can go to other state universities but i personally have witnessed them being trapped in traditional laws and primitive methods of education. English is mandatory in SC and HCs, and NLUs give that environment to uplift for linguistic skills as law professionals.

Likes

Faculty is excellent as they help you to make your doubts clear
People are diversed which results in diversification of thoughts
College is growing as students are trying their best which is resulting in good internships and pre placement offer

Dislikes

We still don't have our own campus which sometimes causes problem
The infrastructure is not that upto mark

Admission:

Those who are 12th pass and have cleared CLAT are eligible for getting admission in this college You can get the information form the CLAT portal of Consortium of NLUs The exam of clat helps in December and its of 150 marks

DNLU: A Budding NLU

Admission:

The admission to the college is completely based upon the CLAT score. The Madhya Pradesh domicile got reserved seats in the college. Accordingly, there is reservation for SC/ ST and OBC classes as per the government guidelines and there is also one more reservation for the defence category. There is no such sports quota

Admission:

Eligibilty- Candidates have to clear CLAT examination. The eligibility for CLAT you can find on College Duniya's Website. I have availed O.B.C. category reservation. Normally for O.B.C Candidates(M.P.) ranks upto 4000 can get you admissions in DNLU.

Admission:

Dharmashastra National Law University(DNLU), Madhya Pradesh was established in 2018 and it is part of NLU 23 colleges. I wanted to pursue my dream of becoming a lawyer and Dharmashastra National Law University(DNLU), Madhya Pradesh is the best place to pursue the dream. To take admission in the college I have to clear the CLAT test and the form for the CLAT test was available through the college website. After clearing the CLAT I have to appear for GD and PI round. The minimum qualification for the course was 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks.
