Faculty is excellent as they help you to make your doubts clear
People are diversed which results in diversification of thoughts
College is growing as students are trying their best which is resulting in good internships and pre placement offer

Dislikes

We still don't have our own campus which sometimes causes problem
The infrastructure is not that upto mark

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is quite good as we have 4 subjects of law in 1st year and others are of ba then the law subjects gets increased in 2nd year we have have the choice of elective subjects in our 4th 5th year

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 258000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total at my time of joining was 258000 including refundable amount. students do get scholarships in this college but those who are from MP gets more advantage although college also provide scholarship from their end but they do have some criteria for that to avail

Campus Life

The good of celebrations takes place including every festival The availablity of books is good in Library and every student can issue them for studying There is given Wi-Fi access in hostels and in academic block The culture of sports is also growing

Admission

Those who are 12th pass and have cleared CLAT are eligible for getting admission in this college You can get the information form the CLAT portal of Consortium of NLUs The exam of clat helps in December and its of 150 marks

Faculty

The faculty is excellent in DNLU as we have good no. of professors who are very qualified in their subjects and most of them have the experience of teaching in good NLUs and law colleges. Professors helps a lot to inculcate research skills

Law and life at sage - opportunities challenges and growth

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum has mandatory course subject clinical component et cetera that are supposed to be up to date with regulatory requirement we have mix of legal theory and practical work it also include non law subject like socialogy political science and economics having two minutes semester test assignment etc semester helps us to get engaged and we also called skilled components like legal aid clinic moot court and law work.

Placement Experience:

Some corporate which are anyways at the campus for hiring students of other streams like the TCS, HUL, Nestle and others are the one who offers us corporate law opportunity with their organization. Initially the lawyers are the least paid employees and therefore placements aren't as significant.

JLU Law College is class apart!!

Placement Experience:

Campus placements at JLU begins early as law is a 5 year course but from fourth year final semester, we are allowed to find placements in our own. Or there are some corporate houses which comes to our campus to recruit and we can apply there as well.

My law college

Placement Experience:

In my department we get placement opportunities in the final year or we can say 5th year. My college gives placements in high ranked companies but as of now I'm in 4th year so I don't know much about that. The highest package we can get here is 5lpa and the minimum is 2 lpa. My plans after getting degree is litigation.

As My course is BBALLB . So here students get eligible for placement from final year only. As of now I'm in 4th year so i didn't visited any company but surely do it in next year. The package we get is minimum 2.5lpa and maximum is 5 lpa.

It's the law firms and mostly the ones from Metro Cities as Khaitan, DSK Legal and many such which are private litigation firms are the ones which gives us placements at will. JLU is also trying hard to get intenrships along the way so that students can also earn PPO too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Law is one such field which attracts me the more and to know about the law and a person right and to fight for the others rights that attracts me to pursue this course.The world of ciriculam and the real world of law are very different.In ciriculam you only learn the law and how will be it applies but in real world the court working is very diifernt.The area of improvement is not necessary it's good but in law college there should be a moot court which is absent in the college.The exam conducting authority disappointed allot.There is no specific shecdule for exam conducting.

MPDNLU is a darling college!!

After you give CLAT, you automatically apply to mang colleges as all NLUs come under that. It wasn't easy though as getting a two tier NLU, I though of switching to a private university as NMIMS Hyderabad was the one where I was getting admission but couldn't took as it was too far. Rejection definitely from top NLUs be it the Bangalore, Hyderabad or the Kolkata one. Even GNLU was my preferred but even they don't take students below the rank of 400 for general category. So with a rank of 2200 I had very few options and out of which DNLU seemed best by all means....Read More

DNLU: Journey from Layman to Lawyer.

Well, National Law Universities have their own charm in terms of Law professionals. One, it adds to your CV a good impression for placements and internships, second, the quality education they provide as per the updated requirements of the field, third, it gives you confidence and a better crowd to be surrounded with. However, I always wanted to get into an NLU and appeared for CLAT henceforth. One can go to other state universities but i personally have witnessed them being trapped in traditional laws and primitive methods of education. The admission to the college is completely based upon the CLAT score. The Madhya Pradesh domicile got reserved seats in the college. Accordingly, there is reservation for SC/ ST and OBC classes as per the government guidelines and there is also one more reservation for the defence category.
