Likes
- The pertinence of Mumbai is followed in each of its campus be it Bangalore, Hyderabad, Shirpur or Indore.
- Since our colleg was started lately and only two batches have passed out the college gives more than it could to get the maximum output.
- Legal writing is been emphasized at our college to a great extent as that is one of the .ajor learnings of law.
Dislikes
- Since we are still new not many companies have joined hands with our college for placements.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course is most lovable as one can compare it with the likes of NLSIU, SLS Pune or even NALSAR. No where else will you see first gear students being thrown to moot courts from the first semester. At NMIMS SOL though we are and that is the best exposure I could have achieved. So please it shouldn't be changed at all.
Placement Experience
Khaitan & Co, The Solicitors and MP High Court Law Firms as most have been hired for MP state firms only. National level law firms and corporate are yet to join hands but once it happens placement percentage which was 60 in 2024-25, will shoot to 80+ and avarage placement which were 6 lakhs will shoot to 12 lakhs a year.
Fees and Financial Aid
NMIMS SOL is the third branch of decorated NMIMS group. After Mumbai and Bangalore, Indore was the third branch and the fees is also kept lowest among all. The fees is just 1.5 lakhs a year and even hostel fees is 1.9 lakhs a year. Hostels are cumposlory for students outside of Indore are outsiders are not allowed to stay in private.
Campus Life
Our annual festival NMOTSAV is not just a cultural fest but a fest to organize a dozen of competitions. Our campus is so modern it looks like a hotel or calbire of Taj or Oberoi. Transparent lifts and others like a 5-star cafeteria is also available at our campus.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are safe guarded by guards and 4 wardens at night. Rooms are luxurious as 4 bed rooms for the first year students and beautiful balcony attached. Rooms have washrooms and a TV. Mess is also beautiful as we are served with new dishes every single day of the week.
Admission
NLSIU or NALSAR if thes two I get I will take admission or will look for private options. Again SLS Pune was first choice in private but I got admission in SLS Hyderabad. So, it goes without saying that because I didn't got my first choice government or private college I chose the second best private law college group which is NMIMS.
Faculty
NMIMS SOL has invited faculties straight from heaven. If we need their help they are ready to cross the 7 heavens for us. What else could I ask for as this is pertinently more than I ever wanted. Mrs Poonam Dixit is my favourite faculty who taught us Contract Law in second year.
Night Life
Hostel in time is 8.30 for girls and 10 pm for boys. Little partiality but inside of campus there are no such rules as till 2 am be it boys or girls we are allowed to roam inside the campus. The Pub: Chill and Unwind is the best night pub close to our campus.
