- Very and very strict attendance here as 80% is the minimum attendance criteria here.
Course Curriculum Overview
Economics Hons or LLb (Hons), I have these two courses in sight. Money wise law is far better and looking at the kind of businesses flourishing in India, lawyers will be in umpteenth demand. So, demand and supply game is what I took into unit economics and felt our course is top quality and one that can help me garner good salary.
Placement Experience
Last year over 50% students were placed and also in 2027, we will have direct placements to MP High court as deals have been inked. So by the time our turn comes in 2028, our placements will be more handy and hopefully better firms too start coming.
Fees and Financial Aid
NMIMS SOL is best law college of Indore by far. Our tuition fees is 1.26 lakhs per year and then GST and charges and all takes it to 1.5 lakhs a year. So per semester i paid around 75,000 for academics and then 85,000 per semester as hostel fees. So yearly a total of 3 lakhs and a 40 thousand is what I am paying.
Campus Life
Our campus is mid sized as it ain't that big not that small. Buildings in our campus though are quite big and facilities in each building are amazing. Even hostels are amazing and even parks and all good. We have two college fests and one law fest and every year they are celebrated one after the other.
Hostel Facilities
One tall girls hostel building with nearly 120 rooms and around 400 girls reside in their. Even the four seater room in which I stay is so spacious that it never feels congested. AC of 2 tons and washroom with shower and geezer is what we have in the attached washroom that is there in our room. A spacious balcony is also there.
Admission
NLAT is the admission test for NMIMS all the branches. As per rankings branches are alloted. After Mumbai and Hyderabad, ours is third. So, top 1500 rankers of NLAT gets admission here and I was among those and that is how I got admission here.
Faculty
At NMIMS Indore faculties are the ones who already has teaching experience of n number of time because they have already taught at other top law colleges. Also, we have many faculties who are graduates in last five years and are continuing their PhD. So, they also share their current thesis and researches.
Night Life
Our university most facilities apart from night canteen closed at 9 pm. Also we are allowed to order through delivery apps and can go to the gate for as long as we want. Nearby there aren't many places but like in 30 mins or so we can reach all prime locations of Indore.
