- Very dominant academics as they rule the campus life here.
- For the contribution of faculties they never let the pressure on students.
- Credit should be given to the placements cell for even though ours is a new campus but placements have progressed at our campus.
Dislikes
- A little disrespectful management I felt as sometimes our issues are ignore as if they don't matter to them.
Course Curriculum Overview
Well the thing that influenced me to choose this course was definitely the law as a profession. The profession is as goated as anything and our courses is more than handy to teach us all kind of laws. There are n number of subjects and apart from mains subjects we have to choose 2-3 electives every semester.
Placement Experience
Currently the placements cell is trying hard to look after th School of Law and management school placements are much better. No tier-1 firm for law students as of now but certainly we do have a lot of demand in corporate from campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
NMIMS School of Law Indore is among the best and fees is also lesser than rest of its branches. Our fees is just 1.5 lakhs a year. Also, for non Indore students hostels are mandatory and one has to stay there only. There are two kind of rooms for that and the one which I live in costs me 1.8 lakhs a year.
Campus Life
Our college campus is huge and probably the greenst and cleanest. Sports facilities are right next to both boys and girls hostels so that makes life eventful after college. Apart from that law students had to enroll in moot competitions and other such completions for which our college gives us endless opportunities.
Hostel Facilities
Boys hostel lf our campus is bigger than many and have facilities better than any. Rooms are big and around 12 washrooms on each floor. Water cooler and air-conditioned mess makes it fun with friends while going for meals.
Admission
NLAT and SLAT were the only two entrance I gave. Through SLAT I was getting SLS Nagpur and through NLAT I got admission in NMIMS Indore. My first were NMIMS Mumbai and Symbiosis Pune but I missed on those and from SLS Nagpur ane NMIMS Indore is what I had to choose and I chose NMIMS Indore as it has better pedigree and facilities compared to SLS Nagpur.
Faculty
Our faculties never made us feel the heat which law course otherwise do make one feel. So, that's the biggest flex that I can make about our faculties. Rest I can vouch for them a lot of other things like their contribution in the filed of law as they have marshalled the students better than most. Professor Angel Bharadwaj who has taught has corporate law in the second year was my favourite.
Night Life
For relaxation we have meghdoot garden. For food obviously it's Sarafa Bazaar and for history Rajwada Palace is nearby. For worshipping the famous Kaanch Mandir is close to our campus so depending upon what mood we are in we choose our hangout spots.
