NMIMS SOL is a solid law college!

For me law was something I longed for since I didn't knew what law actually is. One of my paternal uncle was a lawyer and I grew up watching him and it was a different feeling altogether. The way he was address and the way he used to conduct himself was something which I too wanted and that is how I ended up in a law school.

NMIMS SOL don't have a central placements system as here it's more like the firm's operating in MP or the top highcourt law firms of Bhopal High Court are the ones who come for recruitment. Due to NMIMS tag we get placements not many but yes still enough to ensure that majority of students are placed from here.

Hello I am Purba Maji and I am doing BA LLB (Hons) from NMIMS SOL. Definitely the cheapest campus of NMIMS is ours as the course fees is just 1.5 lakhs a year. Yes because I am not from Indore I have to take hostels of NMIMS and the fees is little steep of it as it's 1.9 lakhs a year. Both fees that is hostel and college are paid semester wise.

We do have sports and hostels alongside two beautiful gardens, 2 cafes, a sports ground and beautiful academic and admin building. So, NMIMS Campus yes a little far off but definitely one for being a part of makes me feel proud for sure. Our annual fest are NMotsav and Sangam. Sangam is like a competitive event while NMostsav is a musical fest.

Four seater room is where I am alloted right now as only 3rd year or past students can opt for 2 seater rooms. Mess is only one and both boys and girls have to share that. Hostel are so near and clean and beds are also comfortable. One washroom attached among 4 is little stringent but we somehow manage that.

NMIMS Law Aptitude Test which is also known as NLAT is what one has to give to be a part of NMIMS. Our entrance is a little different from CLAT and it covers a range of topics such as Current Affairs, Quantative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and English. So, in top 1200 students gets opportunities as covering all 4 branches of NMIMS SOL there are just 1200 seats available for LLB.

NMIMS SOL Faculties are the ones who have been through some form of interview or what I have no idea but filtration done to recruit them for teaching us has been fantastic. All our faculties are highly skilled as teaching craft is something which is innate and all our faculties have that. Exams at NMIMS are moderated level tough.

Indroda Nature Park, Gandhi Hall, and then some cafes though a little distant but are there in Indore. Also, our in time is very very strict as for girls 7 pm is a strict deadline and till 3-4 we have college most days.
