- Teachers are very supportive. Very less tuition and hostel fees.
- It is an autonomous government university thus it provides govt. scholarships
Dislikes
- Poor administration and very poor student support. The administrative authorities are reckless and care least about students .
- No transportation from college side. No proper facility of drinking water plus washrooms. 2 put of 5 fans in every classroom dont work and the worst part is authorities do not care about this. Even the scholarships take almost an year to be credited
- Very less opportunities. No placements and internships provided. The syllabus ia also outdated. No subscription to sites like manupatra etc are given.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus is not updated often. We are only taught theories and not give the opportunity to have a practical experience. It is only in 5th year that we get skme excursions and moot courts. Other than that only subjects are taught for the sake of completing syllabus. Co-curricular activities are very rare
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is 20000 for BALLB (Hons) The scholarships are granted by the govt and financial assistance is also provided to poor students. However the process is very very time taking and sometimes the staff delays it knowingly. It takes an year to avail a scholarship.
Campus Life
The infrastructure iz okayish. No proper water facility and washrooms Most of the fans in the classrooms are not working No smart classes Presentation hall in also rarely used Library barely opens Moot court is almost all of the timez closed
Admission
The admissions were on merit basis (class12 marks) till 2022. However after that the admissions have been done majorly on CUCET scores. The admissions process is quite confusing and hectic. Plus the dept. office is most of the times close.
Faculty
The faculties are very supportive and understanding. They are skilled and efficient in their subjects. Many of our faculties have become civil judges now . Last year in 2023 we two of our faculties became civil judge and one faculty qualified the upsc mains exam
