Likes
- NMIMS all arms have introduced trimesters and that's the best thing as because it's trimesters we get less breaks and more studies.
- From 3rd year, the college itself recommend us for Internships.
- An infrastructure to die for as tall buildings with top infrastructure that has best classrooms and better than the best moot courts and seminar halls.
Dislikes
- Campus is little small and strict too as we aren't allowed to go outside past 7.30 pm.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since we have trimester so we just have four subjects per semester unlike other law colleges which has 6 or more subjects each year. One thing which I want to change is breaks are less and therefore a long stretch of internships are not possible.
Placement Experience
Mostly it's the corporate houses as Pitampura Industrial area is nearby and therefore law students are in demand. However, we wish that litigation firms start coming as working there is everyone's dream.
Fees and Financial Aid
NMIMS (SOL) Indore charges less than its Mumbai's arm and that's a big plus. Also, for every student outside of Indore, hostels are mandatory so combined fees including hostels and college is 1.6 lakhs plus 1.8 lakhs making it 3.4 lakhs a year.
Campus Life
Our classrooms have projectors and good benches as well. Our building which is 6 floor tower has lifts for students and classes are divided as per their year. Instead of cultural program our college hosts National Law Fest every year where students of many top colleges are invited for moot and debate competitions.
Hostel Facilities
Girls hostels are inside the campus and it's a four seater room. Four different beds and four cupboards and shelfs as well. Mess is common for all students be it boys or girls. The fees is affordable as it's just 1.6 lakhs a year.
Admission
Admission are through NMAT and besides that there are no ways to get in here. I also gave entrance of Symbiosis and SLS Pune was my dream college as well. However, i was getting SLS Noida and ours is much better than that so I chose this college.
Faculty
Teaching is so good that I have no doubts in calling it goated. Best faculties and best people on board to teach us as some of them have shifted to Mumbai while rest all are prodigies of top NLUs like NLSIU and NALSAR.
Night Life
Sirpur Lake, Sarita Udhyan, & Snow City to become child for a day again are some of the best places that I go to often. Some garden restaurants are also nearby and a mall to watch movie or try out their food court.
