Dislikes
- 80% attendance is mandate. If you gave fake medical documents to grant attendance they have a very strong network, they'll enquire all whether it's true or not.
- Discipline and proper dress code is mandate. Smart casuals are allowed but it doesn't meant you wear anything.
Course Curriculum Overview
The overall course structure of law is perfect, with in depth knowledge in theories you'll also get a very good exposure at practical workspace. NMIMS School of Law always focus on quality not quantity, that's why it's one of the most trusted institute approved by BCI.
Placement Experience
NMIMS Indore has a good record of placements with an annual package for a fresher being 6-8 Lacs and highest package being offered is 16 lac per annum. Also, reputed law firms i.e., Tier-1 and Tier-2 law firms visits our campus for placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our yearly fees is 2 Lac per annum for 5 years and it includes all i.e., Tution fees,library fees, computer lab, development fees and other charges. No category wise fees structure is there. You have to pay fixed amount of 2 Lacs per annum, it doesn't matter which category of group your belong. No scholarship is present for anyone as per my knowledge.
Campus Life
My overall experience is fantastic. Literally, this college provides you vast opportunities to grow you personality, to improve and have a command on soft and hard skills. Literally, is has clubs which are totally governed by students from recruitment to any execution of national leval competitions and all. Here, we follow free-rein style of leadership. Teachers interference is only when it's required rest all is done by students itself.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is perfect. Annual fees of hostel is 200000 with 10000 securiy deposit. Total fees being 210000. Four times meals are being offered. Flexible food menu and it keeps changing after 14 days.
Admission
Apart from NMIMS, I have applied for BHU, but I want practical exposure and a good network environment, that's why I chosen NMIMS Indore. Although, colleges are best but geographical location matters much more than college. NMIMS Indore is situated just the mid of the Indore City. If you want to visit old indore, get out of the college and take left and want to explore the new more developed indore, take right.
Faculty
In our school of law, failure ratio is only 1% although we have centralised system for exams and copy-checking. Faculties are really helpful and always ready to support students. In a Semester, we have one mid-sem,GDs, projects, etc. and End-semester
Night Life
Night life is much more interesting with more than two sitting areas, all the sports ground are open and sports equipments are also available till 10 PM. You can play , can team up with any group of students.
