First of all I have liked the college campus it's environment is soo good that one can study very peacefully.College surroundings was very good .there will be soo many trees in the college good vibes
The faculty members and the staff was too good and friendly..they teach very well.
The quality of the infrastructure including campus amenities and learning facilities was too good.
Dislikes
Scholarship was not given timely. This is the thing I don't like
Student Snaps:
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is very nice.It prepares for the real world applications ...only a few improvements are there in the teaching methods. The frequency and timing of exams are 4months interval.the exams are also not so difficult it is moderate.
Our college environment and fields and hostel food.
Good teaching staff and good professional course
Good Library is there and many sports and cultural events are conducted
Dislikes
Too many snakes are there in the field and insects .
Far away from the town markets and difficult to buy the groceries.
No placements and internships and seminars.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Horticulture is a professional course.
More practical sessions are conducted.
Entrepreneurship is more in Horticulture sector.
There is no much explanation in some subjects like breeding and pathology.
There is no much time for preparation and exams are at very difficult level
I like this course and faculty for good explanation of subject
I like college life with my friends we had so many memories..
Dislikes
There are some things to dislike like we don't have bus facility from college gate to inside
Placement Experience:
From only completion of 4.1, they are eligible for campus placements and HDFC Bank, and many seed companies visited our college, there is no highest or average package in those jobs everyone gets the same. we got at least 70% of students' placements. My plan after completing this course is to do a masters in the physical science department and a Ph.D. abroad.
As I have no option for another course I have to take this with no other option to opt. We have mid-exams and Semester exams. Faculty will be highly qualified with Ph.D. degrees for most of them. We have permanent staff.
Horticulture is a good growing industry in the present century.so I decided to do a BSc in horticulture.
The faculty of the college of horticulture Mojerla college are so pleased and humble in nature. they clarify all the doubts in classes and their cabins with full patience and a humble manner. there were a total of 8-semester examinations with 2 in each year
And the qualify/pass of each test was 50 marks out of 100.
I was interested in Biology actually.
I also hoped of getting a seat in Agriculture colleges, but by chance, I got admission in Horticulture.
As I got into it, I started loving the course.
The faculty: student ratio is 1:16 in a brief.
The maximum faculty qualified in their PG and PhD.
The teaching is not as practical as expected.
Exams are conducted during the semester wise.
It wasn't so difficult to pass the examinations.
As my first goal was mbbs but I had missed mbbs. So there to no chance and I joined this course. this course is not a choice it's just a chance for me. The faculty in the college is sufficient but the level of teaching is poor .no practical knowledge for students
Qualification of the faculty is MSC or Ph.D. in Agri and horticulture. they will not teach up to their standards. only theory no practical knowledge
The exam process was like semesters .total 8 semesters each semester have one mid-exam and a final semester and practical. pass marks were 50% we should get 50 out of 100
