I was interested in Biology actually.
I also hoped of getting a seat in Agriculture colleges, but by chance, I got admission in Horticulture.
As I got into it, I started loving the course.
The faculty: student ratio is 1:16 in a brief.
The maximum faculty qualified in their PG and PhD.
The teaching is not as practical as expected.
Exams are conducted during the semester wise.
It wasn't so difficult to pass the examinations.
As my first goal was mbbs but I had missed mbbs. So there to no chance and I joined this course. this course is not a choice it's just a chance for me. The faculty in the college is sufficient but the level of teaching is poor .no practical knowledge for students
Qualification of the faculty is MSC or Ph.D. in Agri and horticulture. they will not teach up to their standards. only theory no practical knowledge
The exam process was like semesters .total 8 semesters each semester have one mid-exam and a final semester and practical. pass marks were 50% we should get 50 out of 100
The college requires the candidate to be a 10+2 pass out or any equivalent as accepted by the university, with Physical education as one of the subjects.
My over all experience from the college was good from 5 years however some situations i have experienced was literally negative for me in some cases.
transport facility was not much good. for any student needs we need to travel nearly about 10 kms to nearby village. Perhaps i did not find any negative or such like from this college
