My college experience

My over all experience from the college was good from 5 years however some situations i have experienced was literally negative for me in some cases. transport facility was not much good. for any student needs we need to travel nearly about 10 kms to nearby village. Perhaps i did not find any negative or such like from this college

A one without farming knowledge if joins this course can easily learn farming by the course curriculum not only horticulture we also study some of the agricultural related courses like agronomy, extension and also studies about diary and lives stock in one course. Our university follow semester system and the comprises of 8 semester in total each semester have 8 to 10 courses in it we will write Mid semester after 50 working days in the semester, Practical Examination at the end of the semester as well as Final semester exam after completion of semester

we have placement cell in our college, every year students who passed out and who cannot afford to do Post Graduation can here get a job in various seed companies, fertilizer companies as well as in research related projects. Yes, our college provides an internship of 6 months in the final year in which group of some students allotted to rural villages around hyderabad and had some collabarative learning. We get a stipend of rupees 3000 per month during the internship total of 18000 in 6months. I was learnt so many things in internship that i had not learnt in 3 years study and my overall experience was good

1.Freshers Party in the beginning when freshers arrived in to the college 2.Hostel day in order to have some refreshment in the middle of the year. 3. College Day at the end of the year and also we celebrate every Independence day, Republic day, Gandhi Jayanythi as well as some of auspicious days like bathukamma

Fee structure was feasible. We have to pay nearly about 10000 to 12000 per semester and about 25000 per year and 80% of it we will get reiumbursement from government of Telangana. it is literally free study and we only pay for the food we eat in the college

Our college and University is a government body and we get an scholarship of rupees 25000 per year for Under Graduate students and a stipend of rupees 5000 per month for Post Graduation students and a stipend of rupees 10000 per month for Ph.D Students. College would not provide any loan facilities for students.

we have each and every lab for the departments we study. inter-college meet would be conducted every year for games and cultural programmes, some of our students bagged medals in National meet too every year for the college day college management conducts various games for all the students in the college and the winners are felicitated with an memento on college day with the chief guest.

All students will stay in the college attached hostel, boys and girls have separate hostels. In hostel for Under Graduate students they have to accommodate 3 per room and for Post Graduate and Ph,D students they accommodate each person per room. Hostel infrastructure was good cleanliness was maintained well we have attached T.V room and attached GYM in the Hostel

we have an registered alumni association for the college named "HALAM (Horticulture Alumni Association of Mojerla)" with 7 board members from the administration and alumnus side and 15 executive members from students side. the alumni of our college settled in good positions in Government and Private sectors they guide us in each and every step and help financially the students of current

with the qualification of Biology, Physics, Chemistry in 10+2 I have written an entrance exam called EAMCET( Engineering, Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test) of Telangana state in 2014 and based on my rank i have got this college

Faculty was very student friendly and teaches subject well, 15 out of 19 staff are of doctorate degree holders in various disciplines and had a wide range of knowledge about the subject and also does some research works in college
