Our hod is very friendly and good teacher, she is very understanding and loves all the students.
Snu have a good track record of placements, with tie-ups with industry partners and a dedicated placement cell to assist students in securing internships and job opportunities.
College provides scholarship for students those got above 80% in their boards exam.. also other scholarship like swami vivekananda scholarship also can be approved by the college, loans are also approved by college which is beneficial for students.

Dislikes

They have enough infrastructure but the management is very sick.
The fees of all the courses are very high but no air conditioner is available in the classroom which makes it very difficult to study in the summer season.
College canteen is too small than the no. of students. and the price of each and every foods are so high. and the food quality in our canteen is too poor. overall our canteen facility is too bad.

"Insightful perspectives: A thoughtful review"

Likes

The things I liked the most about my college that is the educational atmosphere of our college.
Secondly our faculties are too good and they are very helpful to us. They are so supportive and too much friendly with us.
And the third is our college campus and the cultural part of our college is marvellous.

Dislikes

The things I disliked about my college is that the low sanitary maintenance.
Secondly the quality of the food of our college canteen is so poor.
Thirdly the system of our college library is so chaotic .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teaching method of our college has an another level . Our faculty always keep involved us with lot of educational event , quize competition, coding competition, coding workshop . They always introduced us with the materialistic world, the truth . All the things are very inspiring to me.

Life in Sister Nivedita University

Likes

The Lab environment need improvement and the classrooms should be big for a comfortable environment.
I enjoy my campus life very much with my friends.
My College have a impressive infrastructure.We have libraries, labs , canteen.

Dislikes

The price of foods is a bit high and need some improvement in food quality.
The faculties are sometime very rude and don't understand students situations.
The hostels are too far from the college.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. TCS, Cognigent, Godrej, Whirlpool, Google, Amazon visited our Highest package is 45 lakh per annum and average is 5-9 lakh. I am planning about to work in a research institute.

Our university ambience, interior is nice also it is neat and clean
Classroom, floor ,toilet all are cleaned on the daily basis so this is good
Our teachers they all are co operative and helpful for us

Placement Experience:

Yeah we got in campus placement from the last semester of the exam , our college provides us placement. Our campus highest placement was 58.09 LPA inr and our college has 97 percent placement rate . In my course we have 1 year of intership to learn and develop of skills

SNU Kolkata review from a SNU student.

Likes

Infrastructure of the college is very nice.
Plentiful amenities like canteen, cafe, library for the ease of students. There is also a yoga room, gym and a basketball court.

Dislikes

The fee payment method is something which is backdated and has to be dealt with by reporting to the college itself.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible to placements from 7th semester. SNU Kolkata assures placement guidance to its students. The top recruiters are MNCs like TCS, Wipro, Accenture etc. The average package is around 5lpa and last year's highest package offered was 27lpa.

Likes

The faculty people and also all the teachers
The environment is very peaceful and encouraging

College life at Sister Nivedita University

Likes

Many of teachers are so helpful , and good behaviour
There is no ragging , and the senior are also supportive
There is no tension about attandance, if your attandance is above 50

Dislikes

If you outside from Bengal and you don't Bangla very well , it's difficult for you , because many of teacher speaks bangla
There is issue about on campus placement , there is no big companies for on campus
Campus is so small and there is no indoor games available for many branches

Placement Experience:

From last year you'll eligible for placement there is Wipro who come and doesn't make any offer Highest package is off campus of 52 lakh for B.Tech CSE in 2023 , and average 3 -4 lakhs. 40 percent students are placed

SNU: the second home

Likes

Faculties: They are really helpful and very friendly in nature. Always there for each and every student to encourage them
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really awesome. Better than most of the other private colleges.
Campus life: Many cultural and social events are organised throughout the year. Also a grand fest is organised by the college authority in every year.

Dislikes

Despite of having a great infrastructure I feel like their fees is little high
Sometimes many of us faced different issues in some of the official works because of their delay
Good opportunities for mass com and CSE department but they also should provide internship to biological science departments also.

Placement Experience:

In our field specially MSc students are eligible for better placements than BSc students. But sometimes for BSc students internships are available and also placements are available after completing their course. A bsc student with good grade can have a placement with avg salary package of 1,80,000 to 2,25,000 per annum. Personally I was not looking for a job after bsc . That's why pursuing MSc degree and after that I'll go for a job.

It is anti ragging collage. Well educated students are there.
Faculty for each department are very good.
All types of labs are there for every department

The placements are good in the sister Nivedita university. Big big company's are there to take you. Well studies are the and everything is present in the university. My plan is to get best placement in university

Good and statisfied with the college

I liked the teaching quality as well as the helpfulness of the teachers , the amount of attention given to every student is truly amazing and wonderfull
It fullfills all the needs of every students. Teachers make sure to help students in every aspect , even if you are a science student teachers make sure that you are to make you able in every field.
The labs are well equipped, the lab teachers make sure to take care of everything and are very helpfull during lab experiments

Dislikes

The lack of healthy food options in and out of the campus . And food being overpriced is a major drawback.
The rush of students is very high , making it difficult in learning process.
The lack of stationary or printing shops nearby or inside the campus to help the students in case of an emergency

Course Curriculum Overview:

Exams starting times are different for all the different subjects , and college gives good strictly decorum during exams. Teachers tends to deduct marks unnecessarily many times making it difficult to keep up the positive attitude
