Likes

Yes, we do have opportunities for scholarship both on the basis of merit and financial considerations.
Faculty is of top quality and they provide the best knowledge
Iim jammu offers great campus placement opportunities and final placement start from the 5th semester talking about the placement report we have had 25% growth since last year.

Dislikes

Hostel is very worst and we pay too much for the things they provide
The campus life for me was very poor the new jagti campus is still being constructed the jhallo chak campus is awful and lacks basic infrastructure.
Initially, the internships offered had a good stipend, but the final candidates they selected were very low; hence, the batch's stipend was very low.

Peer group that's all and class atmosphere
Resources and the staff support that we receive

Dislikes

Hostel food, I mean sometimes I just don't wanna eat
Playground, we do not have adequate playing area outside
Infrastructure, we have broken bathroom and pay fines for that

Overall it's all good, we have world-class faculty in the world and they provide very useful information in all their classes, the peer group is also excellent and I have interacted with the most brilliant minds and they are really good at what they do

Placement is good not like the other IIMS.
Summer placement and final placement is continuously increasing.
Professor and director listen to the students and provide a proper guidance.

Dislikes

Infrastructure was not ready and we have to share 7 person a single room.
Seniors and juniors are living in two different campus.
HAHM should not started it is diluting the brand name.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Master in business administration is one of the greatest courses in India. Faculty-student ratio 1:10. Every faculty member in the Indian Institute of Management should have a degree of Ph.D. after MBA. The term exam was timely every term and the difficulty level varied throughout the first year.

The Course curriculum is the same as followed in the old IIMs. The pedagogy is case-based which helps the students in grasping the concepts. Student Faculty ratio is around 20:1 All faculties are PhD holders

Infrastructure was an issue but now it has been resolved.

Placement Experience:

The earlier batch had 240 students, and everyone got placed till December last year. Around 150 companies visited last year, and the number of pre placements offers are increasing with every upcoming batch.

placements of the college are decent. not as good as older iims. the average package is around 14 lpa. companies which visited are icici bank, hdfc bank, microsoft, amazon, almost 98% of the batch gets placed.

Likes

Faculty, Peer Learning, Permanant Campus and Placements.
Social Life is really vibrant with enough happening to keep you engaged for the duration of the course.
These will be some of the best times of your life. You will definitely cry at the time of leaving the campus.

Dislikes

Old Hostels can be a bit of a problem but with the new campus this issue won't be there.
It can get a little hectic sometimes. But keep breathing it will pass.
It can get a little too competitive sometimes.

Placement Experience:

Campus Placements start from the 4th semester onwards. There were a total of 239 students to be placed. One hundred twenty-six companies came to the campus with 246 offers. The highest CTC stood at 64 LPA, while the average and median stood at 16.43 LPA and 15.35 LPA, respectively. The average package increased by over 19% this year. The average for freshers was 15.5 LPA, whereas for experienced candidates, it was 20 LPA.

People in our batch are experienced and very Helpful. Everyone helps each other
Some Faculties in our Institute are from good. They know how to deliver the content to the students.

Dislikes

There is very less space for Sports, as we were in Transit Campus
Some Faculties of our Institute are inexperienced.

Placement Experience:

We have Campus Placement in our Institute. The average Package for final Placement is 1643000 and for Summer Internship 45000. There is 100% placement in our Institute. Companies like ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Adani, Adani Wilmar, NINE, College Duniya, Jio Cloud Gaming, V-Guard, Schneider, etc came for SIP in our Institute.

The Campus is in the heart of city which is very wonderful.
Experienced fellow classmates who gives us insights.
The diverse cultures and backgrounds from the students belong.

Mess food though every student complaint about it.
Transportation facility in Jammu is not good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

While there are a few subjects that might be difficult for some students while easier for others, the courses are designed and structured in such a fashion that the diversity of students is taken into account making it understandable for every student with little effort. Mostly the faculties are in experienced. Faculty to student ratio is around 1:6. term exams were always on time but not the result. It is very easy to pass the exams but scoring marks is difficult due to high competition.

The course Curriculum is great and the course design provides diversity.
The Books available in the library is helpful
The faculties are quite helpful and always available to solve any personal problem as well.

Dislikes

The Infrastructure is very poor giving difficult times to students
The facilities available is not sufficient
The program design is hectic and time is not managed properly

Placement Experience:

Campus placement session starts from the 5th trimester and includes tech giants like Deloitte, Accenture Strategy, and Infosys. The BFSI sector includes ICICI and HDFC. Other major recruiters are Barclay, JP Morgan, Mckinsey, etc.
